If you look at the descriptions on TAG's site they are actually aimed at Milsim/Training use rather than the average Sunday skirmish. The smoke rounds are useful though. The "Pecker" rounds are solid-ish for use as training aids for aiming practice etc but I'm sure they're pretty innocuous unless you get shot point blank (we're not talking good old baton rounds here).

I'm a fan of pyro, I like shit that goes bang. The bit I don't quite get though is when a site says you can use paper pyro up to MK5 but TAG rounds are also fine. The original blurb for Reapers suggest that they are closer to a MK9 and having had a few land near me (at Red Alert), I could easily believe it.

I'm rather lucky in that I have a brother in law with a resin printer! But yes. Airsoft is a big old hole to chuck money into if you let it be.

The Gate mosfets (Titan and Aster) use photocells to pick up the teeth on the gear (the Titan is a break beam, the Aster is retro reflective which is why it has stickers to put in the gearbox). The issue with optical sensors is that they can get dirty and stop working or you can sometimes get too much ambient light into the gearbox that interferes. With the Aster needing a white surface opposite the sensor, you can run into issues if the sticker isn't flat or doesn't adhere to the inside of the gearbox properly. The Perun Hybrid uses a hall effect (magnetic) sensor to do the same thing. Arguably this is more reliable but both systems rely on correct spacing

The Ferro Chesty and the OPS Minimo are basically self contained units that take placards. They don't rely on the placard having clips on the side to attach straps in the way that something like the Spiritus and Haley style micro rigs do. All you need is to clip the vertical clips in and attach the velcro. The straps are attached to the body of the chest rig.

Don't get too hung up on having the side clips. With a massive velcro field holding the placard on it really won't move about.

Looks like there's not enough gas pressure. Is the mag leaking? Fill it and put it under water, look for bubbles. How long ago did you put it away?

Disconnect the motor and battery, check for continuity between the +ve battery connector terminal and the +ve motor wire when you pull the trigger. There's a lot of connections in there, I'd not be surprised if one of them isn't making good contact.

No idea if it's any good but at that price it's worth a punt.

They're both in the wrong in terms of gameplay but yeah, that's video evidence of felony assault (seeing as it's US based). Pretty disappointed in the guy filming that let it go on for a while before rather limply pulling the bloke away. Also not convinced that the "woman" isn't actually a dude (who could well have been doing this to all and sundry all day).

Fair enough, I guess you'd have to use some pretty heavy BBs at those ranges to be anywhere near 1j on impact and I daresay they be so slow you could send written notice of them!

Given that I've not been to a site with less than 20m MED for DMRs (30 for BASRs) I'd assume that would comfortably cover any worst case scenarios as far as ludicrously heavy BBs goes?
