You need to look at the latest crop of high mounts in the arena of why they were produced in the first place. The whole point is to make it easier to use your optics (primarily) on an AR platform while you have NVGs on. The fact that they make it easier to get a decent head position in airsoft/wearing a mask etc is utterly coincidental.

They've clearly had issues with people changing weights to cheat the chrono. They should have warned people in the briefing that HPA/gas users should make sure they aren't over the joule limit with THEIR 0.3s but it's their site, their rules unfortunately.

There's the obvious (and no doubt soon to be suggested by others) Smersh SVD rig that you could easily put over your Osprey. Pretty much everyone makes a pouch with a Kydex insert now. Are they all copying ESSTACs homework? Of course they are. Do they get as much stick for it as WAS do? No, of course not. They are all serving a market that thrives on copying innovations from other people and rebranding it to suit their product range. That said, at least the WAS kydex pouches don't need fucking MALICE clips to hold them on!

Hi, welcome to the forum! Initial first gun newbie advice is always - leave it alone until you've used it a while and then decide if it actually needs more power/better barrel/different hop rubber. H03 is from the Specna ONE series if I remember correctly so it probably needs the gearbox out to get at the spring anyway. Easy, simple upgrade would be a ZCI barrel and a Maple Leaf macaron rubber with the Maple Leaf Omega nub. Should give you a bit of a bump in power without taking you over the site limit too. As the owner of 3 M14s, I feel your pain.

I've used the Warrior Assault Systems taco pouches for G3, M14 and M4 (both STANAG and plastic styles) and they work well. Otherwise, you could look at the NI/SADF style chest rigs where one size swamps all.

Can't help on stock levels but as far as LiPo for RC and LiPo for Airsoft...no. No difference. RC ones may be of slightly higher quality, if they have Tamiya connectors they'll be opposite polarity. Otherwise, a 2 cell, 7.4v LiPo is a 2 cell 7.4v LiPo whether it says RC or Airsoft on the side.

If you like it and can afford it, I see no reason why not. I assume you'll be getting your UKARA sorted so you don't have to two tone it?

To specify an o-ring you'll need the ID (inside diameter), OD (outside diameter) and the material. Or buy a selection box of small o-rings from Amazon/ebay and keep trying them all until you find one that fits. Personally, I'd just get a new nozzle.

I got into airsoft guns pre-VCRA, because I like guns. The shop where I bought my model aeroplanes sold a LOT of airsoft pistols which is where I got my first one (a NBB TM Desert Eagle). That shop closed down but a comic/model shop opened up and they were selling airsoft guns too. So I bought a TM SPAS (like you do). Me and my mate that shared a house used to use our guns to run around the house shooting each other when were drunk! Skirmishing came quite a bit later when a buddy of mine persuaded us to go to The Mall. And the rest is (expensive) history!

They come with a 20mm rail mount as well. Just needs swapping over and then it'll attach to the bottom rail.

Just to chip in, I'd 100% back up the Cyma M14 route. I have a completely bog standard Cyma M14 Socom (albeit with some cosmetic tweaks) that regularly outranges its price! Last time out, using 0.28s it was getting sufficient range that even the marshals commented on just how far I was hitting with it. They can be a bit heavy if you're used to M4s and the like, the SOCOM is probably the best balanced, the full length one can be a bit unwieldy and the EBR is heavier than a heavy thing and completely front end biased. Worth a try if you know someone that might give you a lend for a game though.
