  1. I don't even care about K/D when I'm playing Battlefield!
  2. Blimey....I think I've just sold my house!

Good news does that mean you can go out to play at the weekend now?

Seems estate agents don't communicate well. House not sold. Displeasure ably communicated by myself.

Let's try that one again then shall we?

  3. That's what we in the know call "bullshit". If you had internals made of carbon steel which was coated with grease then you could conceivably argue that the alcohol would strip the grease away which would (eventually) allow corrosion to take place, however you would also need the internals of the gun to be damp coupled with the fact that if you strip all the lubricant from the inner workings of your AEG it'll grind to a halt WAY before it goes rusty. Also - your barrel does NOT need to be lubricated. Clean it with isopropyl alcohol by all means but keep it dry and polished and you'll be absolutely fine.
  4. On a standard day using assault rifles I'm the same. Barely 500 or so but this weekend the M249 came out to play and suppressed the living crap out of...well everything.
  5. Depends. If you're OK with running up and down flights of stairs in the pitch black, getting lost and totally gagglefucked at every corner, doorway and corridor.....then yes. I love it but then I know my way around It's a great site and it IS unique. But it's not for everyone.
  6. I've been using them, pretty good so far. I was going to use an expletive riddled comment in response to the OP but having spunked about 4000 rounds downrange on Sunday with the SAW I can kind of see the point. Of course if it was through an assault rifle then he needs to try aiming.
  7. Depends how "safe" you want to be. Any cheap replica will stop BBs but none of them are any "safer" than a cheap cycle helmet. If that's OK for you then I would suggest getting an FMA one from ebay (the Emerson ones are not as nice). If on the other hand you actually want one that'll properly save your head from a decent bump then you're into real ones and they cost a crapping fortune!
  8. JG would be a better bet, they'll be cheaper plus Ares don't have a great reputation for reliability.
  9. My bad, I got confused by you talking about sigs.
  10. Nope, won't need to be touched. The front sight will co-witness fine. If you DO decide to remove it then yes you could be in for some work but you don't NEED to remove it. Try it out, you may decide you just don't like the co-witnessing thing.
  11. Fair play then. As you say they both seem to copy the same stuff so that's most likely where I got confused! +1 on the Warrior gear too, I have a WAS 901 rig and for airsoft purposes it's pretty much indestructible.
  12. Yes but you will need a stock adaptor. The Sig rifles don't have a buffer tube like an AR platform does.
  13. Interesting.... I was pretty sure they're different brand names of the same company.
  14. If you can live with the colour then yeah the industrial ones are cheaper but still properly impact rated. To be honest though, if fifty quid seems too expensive - you may have picked the wrong hobby....
  15. It's all about context. If one gay man says "you're so damn gay" to his friend it probably isn't an insult but if someone else shouts it at the same person with intent then yes it probably is an insult. In the same way that the Royal Philharmonic playing Ace of Spades isn't heavy metal but Motorhead playing Beethoven's 5th definitely is.
  16. Look up Protec holdalls. I have this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Tec-M41-Protec-Holdall/dp/B004QMO7KC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_86_6?ie=UTF8&refRID=138DXZF1TBHH8B716MY0 and it's been pretty good. They also do a wheeled trolley one which might be worth a look because you can fit a shedload of stuff in one!
  17. You want these oneshttp://www.ukmcpro.co.uk/Bolle-Tactical-X1000-Goggles-RX-Model-Gear/p/4/2/6236/
  18. Try Helmet World http://www.helmetworld.co.uk/helmets-176-c.asp or Apextac on ebay.
  19. That's the important bit here. Lots of people have bought their kit in the UK and want a fair price compared to what THEY paid. Telling them that you could get the same thing for a fraction from Hong Kong just causes bad feeling in my opinion.
  20. Decided to move house. Because, you know...life just wasn't complicated enough already!

At least changing your address on UKARA is an entirely painless, quick and typo free experience not worthy of sarcastic reference from my personal experience!

Poor sod - one of the most stressful things is buying/selling house. Only bonus is hopefully a bigger armoury

  21. More likely the exchange rate....
  22. Same, royal mail/parcelforce. Make sure you follow the instructions and get the right postage. Make sure there's no gas in it before you ship it.
  23. Airsoft armoury should have been able to do that for you (especially now they've opened a shop attached to the mall). Or socom tactical in fleet.
  24. You should be OK. G&G have started selling guns in their "Wasteland" range that are similar so as long as it's more than half a bright, unrealistic colour you should fulfil the criteria. The most important of which is "don't wave it about in public and you'll be fine".
