  1. I'm thinking maybe some of us need to start a new team...."Team Fluffy Unicorn" maybe. We could all have a patch of a VERY fluffy unicorn and people would know they could ask (nicely) for a bit of ammo and not get sent away with a flea in their ear.
  2. I mean....yes the guns are expensive and in many cases the gear is too but one of the things that sets airsoft aside from paintball is the cost of ammunition. A typical bottle of 3000 rounds costs what, a tenner? So 0.33p per round. So let's say you give away a hi cap's worth, we're only talking about a quid. A mk5, £2? Maybe £2.50 if you've bought it onsite. If these tiny little amounts are that big a deal to you then maybe you've chosen the wrong hobby... Think about it this way - some rental kid who has clearly been having a load of fun (on account of having run out of ammo) asks you if you have any spare. You look in your bag and yes, you have more than you actually need. You could just say no. He'll go away deflated and you'll have either a sense of pride in having managed to keep that extra pounds worth of ammo for another day OR maybe you'll get that niggling little doubt in the back of your mind that actually, ACTUALLY you could have been a better person back there. Alternatively you could actually say "yeah sure, fill your boots" (hopefully he wouldn't really fill his boots cos that's WAY more than a hi caps worth). He goes away happy, you get a warm sense of pride that you've improved someone else's day and maybe, just maybe you've made a new friend. Is your life so full and rich that you don't need any more friends? I seriously doubt it. Life is short. Don't squander it being mean.
  3. If I have some spare 0.2 or 0.25 then giving some away if they ask nicely and aren't a dick about it doesn't seem like a problem. I can understand not wanting to give away heavyweights but standard ammo is so cheap I really can't see a problem with it.
  4. What changes are you looking for? Jez at ProAirsoft Supplies is very good.
  5. Not yet, but having bought a spare box mag for my SAW I'm tempted to have a go!
  6. The sliding adjuster on a V3 hop unit is held in place by a small screw. Tighten the screw up a bit and job's a good 'un.
  7. Have you tried www.firesupport.co.uk? They have quite a few TM OEM parts. Also try ehobby Asia.
  8. Fair point about indoors actually, when some people have been at the Mall wearing UCP they have blended in quite well.
  9. If it will take genuine Respro filters, get some in it and use it for a pollution mask if you go cycling in town or whatever but at the end of the day it's a neoprene mask with holes cut in it. Neoprene masks do absolutely nothing to prevent your teeth getting shot out. What you could do is ditch the filter part and wear it under mesh lower face mask to make it more comfortable.
  10. Knock off of a respro mask. That won't protect you for toffee.
  11. That's not entirely true. You can just reinsert them into the mag pouches. Dump pouches are fine if you don't mine clattering about once you have a couple of empties in there.
  12. Yeah, but would have been the BEST GUN EVER!!!
  13. It actually looks like the Firefly logo! (the TV series not the hop up brand)
  14. The gun in question has a keymod rail and a silver outer barrel which would suggest aftermarket parts. There are some Dytac rifles that look similar, have a google for Dytac SMR or UXR range (Landwarrior have them).
  15. You'd be better off asking the guy that owns it, doesn't look very "off the shelf".
  16. Yeah.....that'll never work. The sling is too smooth and too stiff to hold a knot properly!
  17. Take the end of the sling in the second picture and wrap it around the buffer tube once then back through the triglide buckle. Tighten the buckle down so that it sits against the buffer tube and then pass the slack end back through the buckle to secure it.
  18. Yes, I used to use mine for an M4A1 (until I changed pretty much every part on the gun - still fits in the bag it's just not an M4A1 any more). It's long enough for an M249 Para with the stock stowed and also has an extending rifle barrel cover that comes out of the main compartment if you have any longer guns you need to carry (I use it when I'm carrying my M14 EBR for example). I've regularly used one to carry my SCAR-L, an M4, an AKS74U and a pistol all at the same time. Great bags (whichever one you buy).
  19. Without seeing it in the flesh it looks SO similar I'd be hard pushed to pick between the two. Cordura and polyester are so similar as to make very little difference in this application (bearing in mind that Cordura is just a brand name for a woven nylon material). Regardless. That style of bag would be good for the OP.
  20. That right there is a copy of the Viper multi gun bag. In fact I'd be VERY surprised if it isn't the exact same bag with a different label on it.
  21. I use a Viper multi gun bag. Works fine, can fit an M4 sized rifle plus an SMG and a pistol plus mags for all. Don't pay more than £50 for it though.
