to the OP, why are you looking at switching to gas? if its to lighten the draw etc, why not get a mancraft SDIK kit, and HPA your VSR when my TM g-spec shows up i plan on mancraft HPA'ing it

What made you choose the G17 over the G18? i personally cannot see a reason why, so i was just wondering, is there a specific reason? something i am missing?

i hate to say it but you wouldnt have the range. but fear not, there is 2 things you can do:- 1) use power down shells - these have some sort of insert that reduces the FPS of the bb (recomended) 2) if its CO2 cartridge type, use a refilable cartridge from airsoft world, then either use a co2 recharger with co2 cartriges to fill it, or fill it with green gas

I have emailed mancraft, they don't do a kit for the TM L96, that's a well l96, check the mag placement

There isn't that many upgrades for the TM L96AWS, and no HPA kit for it either, if you want the l96 look at a well mb01 series they have far more upgrades available

fire support did stock standard replacement mag lips, don't know if they have any in atm. apparently m9 lips fit, but i have no experience. no idea on the mag catch spring, sorry

so hobby king has a rather good sale on airsoft guns atm ... just a shame that they wont ship the one i want (WE MP5 SD3) to the UK ... WTF!

Word of warning, getting genuine replacement parts for a TM famas can be a pain. As I found out when I restored one (still need a few bits)

but its TM, so use able out of the box... and that hop .... i hear they soak it in the blood of rocking horses or maybe sprinkle unicorn horn on it either way its good

You could get 150 for all of it. the reason people say to put it back to standard and split the accessories, is it should sell a lot faster, and you may make more selling it separately.

cm16's are only £130 new. put the gun back to standard if you can, that should then be worth £100 sell accessories separate. How much did you pay for it?

i agree with Baz with above, for your first gun, unless you 100% know the history of the gun, buy new
