  1. not released for sale yet.
  2. I can tell you right now it IS uncommon, I have not once seen a blood group tattoo in the last decade.
  3. That's a truly inspiring bit of custom work right there, surely a good contender for the AI custom gun competition. You must be pleased as punch, gives your Aussie kit a really unique selling point.
  4. I think you need to read the thread captaindumbass
  5. The nano can be installed plug and play, but you're better off wiring it in for best results.
  6. don't worry about getting hit with a sniper rifle, even if they're 500fps from 30 yards away it'll hurt no more than a normal AEG, that is if the 'airsoft sniper' can hit you at 30 yards! As for buying a £30 desert eagle... don't even bother, just buy a nice shotgun and as many shells as you can get for it.
  7. hey, at least he's necroposting actual topics this time, not just spamming "this still available" on every RIF in the classifieds!
  8. Short answer: http://www.ukara.org.uk/player-registration.php No, you MUST be 18 years of age in order to be added to the UKARA database. You can't have someone else on the database as proxy for you, kinda defeats the point of the whole thing.
  9. Completely the other way round, a PEQ15 even in 'training' mode can cause permanent eye damage with sustained exposure (5mW!!!), on high power it doesn't take sustained exposure at all, the LA-5 especially with a 50mW (100x more powerful than 'eye safe') is extremely dangerous. IR lasers are especially dangerous because they're invisible they produce no blink reflex and the person being blinded has no idea it's even happening!
  10. for a support gun I'd go for something a bit more agricultural than an ASCU, are you going to use/need half of the features? Gate Nano mosfets are pretty amazing and very compact.
  11. DE M56 is a perfectly skirmishable gun, I've used one for a day for a laugh and really enjoyed it. Completely changes the way the game plays knowing that you get 10 shots before you have to reload and that you don't even have the option of semi-auto.
  12. Yes, the nut is not 'real steel' dimensions though so you'll need a specific wrench to remove it (or a screwdriver and a hammer if you don't really care about ruining it), that tool is about £20 shipped and the thread lock you'll need to put it all back together is a few quid too. Unless you've already got these things it's probably cheaper to have it done by someone else who already has the requisite tools/equipment. Make sure also that you get one specifically designed for the recoil shock series, GBB ones can be made to fit but they lack the tabs required to stop the buffer tube rotating.
  13. What I read there was; "I've been in CQB games where I've been dominated by players better equipped for CQB and whined about it so much the marshals had to change the rules to accommodate me"
  14. didn't see this, wilco gets used a fair amount in aviation, it's definitely still in APP1
  15. I just made little loops of paracord to expand the small sling loops on my old SCAR, worked fine and stopped the body of the gun getting all marked up.
  16. I don't think the returning of BFGs is going to be an issue, if you're throwing it and waiting long enough before entering the room that someone can pick it up, re-prime it and then throw it back then you're doing it wrong and deserve to get blown up. The bang should go in and you should be in the room within a couple of seconds at most giving the occupants no chance to return it.
  17. Yea he, wrong type will fuck you up, everyone has it on their dog tags and zap patch anyway. Never seen or heard of anyone tattooing it onto themselves.
  18. Best advice I can give for stuff like that is to buy real ones, repro stuff for looks is often good enough, but if you require something to be mechanically sound then quite often the Chinese knock-off will fall well short of the mark. I use peltor rail adapters and comtac ACH headphones on my helmet, expensive but worth every penny in that I know I could boot it across a room with every confidence it'd all still work when it stopped moving.
  19. Reference comms on a fast style helmet, even with one that fits properly routing a headband underneath can be uncomfortable, try having a look at arc rail adapters for a sordin or comtac headset. Massively improved helmet stability too :-) As for getting the FMA L/XL helmets to fit bigger heads, rip out the shitty occ-dial that comes with it, fit a h-nape and use mich helmet pads, should give you plenty more room!
  20. Holy shiz, I just googled 'arid woodland' and it seems some manufacturer has actually called a pattern that... Though it is 'mil-tec' so I'm not overly surprised. They also made the rather hilarious 'urban' pattern which is just black and white US woodland.
  21. arid ˈarɪd/ adjective 1. (of land or a climate) having little or no rain; too dry or barren to support vegetation. "the arid plains north of Cape Town" synonyms: dry, dried up, waterless, as dry as a bone, moistureless, parched, scorched, baked, thirsty; More Too dry or barren to support vegetation means no woodland btw.
  22. You are indeed a lucky man. Mine thankfully is unaware enough of guns that I managed to sneak the 416 in under her nose with 'this one? nah it's the same one I've had for ages'.
  23. I think a lot of this is exaggerated whinging about having to compromise if I had my way I'd have a gun in bits on my dining room table all the time and would spend almost all of my disposable income on gear.... sadly the sensible one (the Mrs) likes to be able to use the dining room for eating and has this weird notion that we should buy a house and save money sometimes. Suppose it's all for my own good, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it
