  1. the VFC 417 is supposed to be really good, know a few guys who have been running them over the winter and are quite impressed. Asia editions are normally MORE powerful than the EU editions, the VFC 417 asia edition for example is ~400fps on propane, while the EU edition is more like 300fps.
  2. yeah, rather than building a Mk12 I'd recommend buying one, as I said, G&P do a very good one.
  3. Cable ties aren't as strong as you think, guarantee you'll snap one if you try and use it as a sling loop. I found reef knots worked loose (no tension to keep them together most of the time) so I just tied an overhand knot using both ends of the paracord as one piece, so far that's held up for about 18 months
  4. who knows, Frank works in mysterious ways!
  5. of those three, the only one I'd recommend is classic army. dboys and cyma make mostly junk, with a few exceptions.
  6. for the amount it'll cost to buy and repair that guy's pistol, you could buy a new one.
  7. nope, KSC is completely different to the TM.
  8. yes, should do. Of course, the less you pay... the more work it'll be to get it working!
  9. That is the 26 slide, the 26 advance is just a 26 with some bits bolted on. Absolutely no way a 17 slide will go on.
  10. Guarder make one, but it costs more than the gun.
  11. I wouldn't believe everything you read on the internet clumpyedge, the email from frank at BTC stating they're delayed til march was photoshopped and at no point has any quantity for release been stated.
  12. Matthew Axelson in Lone Survivor carried a Mk12 Mod1 SPR. G&P do a pretty good one, you'll want the one with the sliding stock rather than the fixed stock. Attachments wise you'll need a 6-9" harris bipod, Leupold Mark 4 scope with a Docter micro red dot mounted on the rear ring, a PEQ2 laser, Knights Armament vertical foregrip, some Knights rail covers and a really good paint job. I priced one up a few months back and using decent quality reproduction accessories it was about £450-500.
  13. That's looking pretty legit, just gotta get it all good and dirty.
  14. I use my GPS pretty much every stirling weekender I go to, some of the sites are big enough that reporting positions is easiest done using OS grid!
  15. another half decent trick is to fill the mag with a little bit of gas and pop it into a bowl of warm water (hot bath warm, not out of the kettle) for 10 mins or so.
  16. good luck accurately firing an MP7 with one hand, they're a lot bigger than they look. Oh, and anything made by well will be manufactured from soft cheese and good intentions.
  17. good for dropping in the shower so other dudes can rape you.
  18. you're gonna need to be more specific with which kind of stock you mean, SOCOM stands for Special Operations COMmand and there's been a lot of stocks used by them!
  19. 100% fixable, chances are the seals have just dried out a bit and need some silicone grease on them.
  20. cardboard box with a teatowel hanging over it.
  21. if you have a LiPo battery that is swollen it needs to go in the bin. LiPo batteries should NOT be discharged. Vanaras PEQ battery box: http://bit.ly/161Hj69
  22. Safariland are what I'd recommend, best holsters in the world.
  23. Ok, I'll be less subtle; VANARAS DO A GOOD BATTERY BOX FOR STORING AEG BATTERIES, IT IS QUITE CHEAP.
  24. Wear what you want, if it doesn't work wear something else :-)
