  1. Plus; it's an excuse to buy another gun!
  2. If it ain't broke... Like others have said; it sounds like it's working fine as it is. My recommendation, if funds allow; buy a cheap 2nd gun & experiment with upgrades on that. You won't risk messing up your main weapon then & it'll give you experience on working on internals...
  3. Energy: 0.17 joules... There's certainly *something* up...
  4. Had a play around with my mate's Airsoft AA12, pretty impressive but by god, it's a bulky sonovabitch!

*If* and when I do. It depends if he gets round to getting it back up & running; but there's not much to see.

It fires I *think* 5 shots at a time out to a 20/25m range.

  5. Having a brain fart kinda week. I'm looking at changing over my AK gearbox to a G36, and need confirmation. Will I need anything different barring the Air nozzle, selector plate & trigger or is that it? It seems like I'm forgetting something glaringly obvious...

      Ahhh yes, of course!

I have a spare, thankfully, but yes...I knew there was something more.

      Thanks fella. :)

  6. First woodland game of the year tomorrow! It's been too long!

  7. Is that 305fps taken with the .25s?

And how exactly is all of what he wrote useless..?
  9. If it's a gradual curve, then it's most likely hop-related; or if it's anything like my old M24, even possibly wear/damage on the cylinder head.
  10. Does it shoot straight to the right, or gradually curve right?
  11. It's not the same guy from a while back that filmed himself shooting random people with a paintball marker round a city is it? I dread to think there's more than one person doing this type of asshattery...
  12. The film version used some sort of night tiger stripe BDUs, UKmcpro used to stock them, but can't say if they still do.
  13. I would have thought a proper metal-working Lathe would be okay; but obviously, you need someone that has access to one...which is easier said than done!
  14. From the ones I've seen, the SSGs have sealed cylinders, and aren't compatible with other makes, so I don't know how viable it is to down/upgrade them.
  15. Take it back to the shop before you do any of that, if it's new, they should be able to help so long as you haven't done anything to it.
  16. Hi there fella; whereabouts in Brid are you? I used to live there until a couple of years ago, and have a mate who skirmishes & still lives there. The nearest sites to you are the two Centurion sites; one just outside Scarborough, but it's *very* small; and their new one they've just started using which is near Driffield and much larger! There's also Airsoft Commandos nearish to Selby, Humber airsoft just over the bridge, as as well Headshot airsoft and Slaughterhouse around Hull. (Though I'm not sure if SH is still running or not). They can all be found through their respective Failbook groups, if you use it; not sure if any of them still have dedicated websites.
  17. D'oh. Last minute emergency downgrade time...all for about 5fps! Typical. XD

5fps? Wind the hop on some more

Nah, I may as well do it properly. I spent last Sunday afternoon putting together a new gearbox, so I'll just drop that one in instead.

A pistol with a nub? I thought they all used hop arms. What pistol is it?

      Hudson

They do, it's just a standard WE 226; I'm just referring to the part of the bucking that actually protrudes, not an actual AEG style 'nub'...it just saves calling it the 'Hop bucking protrusion' each time! XD

Everywhere's either out of stock of soft nubs, or they want £6 or more for delivery; even for a tiny part such as buckings.

  19. Need a belt-mounted pouch for an Ohshiboom that lets you draw/replace it quickly. Suggestions?

TRMRs and VTGs have these awesome "clips" that you fasten to molle and you just push them into and pull them out of. It's like a C shaped plastic thing that they just snap in and out of.

No idea what they're called though... I know, I'm so helpful. :3

But there might be an OhShiBoom version.

      Perfect, that's exactly what I meant (Y)

  20. What ammo are you using? And having a few bbs fall out when you remove the mag is perfectly normal with AEGs.
  21. It's somewhat amusing that almost *every* gun I see for sale nowadays is advertised as 'Out-shooting/shoots father/out-performs every other gun on site'.

I'd have liked to have shot my father with any of my airsoft guns. Seriously.

  22. Almost all Aeg style will fit (M14 excepted, due to different C-clip notches) It's just about getting the correct length For your gun.
  23. Normal length Augs have a 509mm barrel as standard.
  24. Greetings from Hartlepool!
  25. Where are you based?
