Fair enough then! I'd imagine you'll still have the dreaded parcelforce handling fee though; but otherwise, go for it in that case! (Might be worth messaging them & seeing if they'll drop it to 320/330 instead though; in case you decide to get a TBB at a later date).

It's JG; They're usually quite passable, but will likely be hot out of the box & need downgrading, plus maybey a service & a hop change. If you're not experienced with working on gearboxes, then I'd say add another £60-70 on top of that price for all the work, parts, plus shipping & import fees.

If you can stretch to it; LW have one G&P M16 VN remaining on offer; it would likely end up cheaper & easier than converting an ICS! **Edit. I'm actually tempted by it now, tbh!

The foregrip *may* not be compatible if it's cross-manufacturers. ICS tend to be somewhat different to most other brands, and I can't recall ICS making a Vietnam version off the top of my head; which means it's gonna be taken from another make.

For shotgun primers, I use the tubes that inner barrels come in, cut Down to hold around 8. Holds them securely & with no rattle.

I really wish retailers would downgrade to sub 350fps before selling. If I like a gun, I want to be able to walk away with it and be able to skirmish straight away if needed; even if this means putting the price up to cover costs. I guess this is why I haven't bought a brand new AEG for years! XD

Like RR01 says; that's a bolt action rifle spring (VSR, to be precise) So no; not if the SVDs take AEG springs I'm afraid. It might be worth double checking the Hop; it is always possible, however unlikely that you've got an air leak now which could be giving you the drop in FPS.

I was sorely tempted by one of these in Patrol Base the other week, but Ares' reputation & my experience with them, along with needing proprietary magazines (Which weren't/aren't out yet) PLUS having to get it downgraded to start with put me off. :/

There aren't too many up your way unfortunately, with it mostly being a national park permission for land can be somewhat tricky to say the least! Raw War Cumbria *seems* to be dead from what I can tell; all associated links don't go anywhere, and nothing seems to be recent. Annan looks like it might still be active from their page, even if the website has a very 90's look to it, but their FB page seems to have nothing since 2013, so make of that what you will. Otherwise, your nearest sites are probably Lancashire/Manchester ways & West Yorkshire, if you have your own transport.

If it ain't broke... Like others have said; it sounds like it's working fine as it is. My recommendation, if funds allow; buy a cheap 2nd gun & experiment with upgrades on that. You won't risk messing up your main weapon then & it'll give you experience on working on internals... -

Having a brain fart kinda week. I'm looking at changing over my AK gearbox to a G36, and need confirmation. Will I need anything different barring the Air nozzle, selector plate & trigger or is that it? It seems like I'm forgetting something glaringly obvious...
