  1. Earmor M20 are in-ear hearing protection. I use them with a Delta Mike.
  2. My main outdoors AEG of 2 years. A boneyard Specna Arms with RRA trademarks turned Mk18 but with the 12" handguard.
  3. Another reason why I don't use my BFGs outdoors and mainly paper pyro. I don't think anyone at my regular site(s) would steal anything but there's always that chance that some less than decent person attends one day. I've often left my rifle unattended during games when I need to sprint to and from an objective.
  4. I used to pick up boneyard AEGs of different varieties such as a FAMAS, L85A1, AUG, P90 etc because it helped me learn how to fix stuff myself and was a cheap way to have a larger variety of RIFs but I recently slimmed down my collection by five or six RIFs to fund my move into HPA. I think i've only ever bought two RIFs at retail - A Krytac LVOA-C and G&G L85A2. As for kit, it's pretty much the same. My helmet, eye/face protection, gloves and clothing are probably the only things I bought new - just about everything else has come from the forums, ebay or selling sites. Pyro is where I expend a fair amount of cash (outside of BBs) just because I like things that go bang. I'd use my BFGs more often but I don't want to lose them when outdoors
  5. Same. The Airsoft_UK subreddit terrible in terms of it's moderation too. 2nd hand sales threads tend to get locked or deleted and then redirected to a dead UK Airsoft Sales subreddit. Airsoftcirclejerk tends to have couple of funny posts.
  6. I like the Magpul handguard on the MP5. @ButcherBill What's the name of the stippled/textured handguard on the third one down?
  7. Any kind of Gas magazine means you're going to get stiffed if buying in the UK, especially on 'primary' guns. I tend to look at WGC Shop, ProAct Store and Impulse 101 when I want MP9 or MP7 mags as they're often a third of the price of UK retailers. After postage, i'm paying about 60% of the price of UK retailers.
  8. I have finally joined the dark side. Kythera into an old VFC/Cybergun Scar-H and snagged some lads EMGxTTI TR-1 with a Backdraft Pheonix inside.
  9. This may interest you. Not so much the launcher he's using - but the projectiles.
  10. A quick second place to marshalling being fair and consistent would be; listening to feedback from the players on what does and doesn't work - being open to feedback is huge. Bonus points if the site owner actually plays at the site to first hand see what is or isn't working.

    Pyro

I would have suggested BulkPyroSupplies but they've recently stopped trading for 'changes in personal circumstances'. They were usually the lowest priced retailer and offered nice discounts for bulk purchases. Same with a website called 308sniper.co.uk - used to buy a lot of my pyro from there as the postage was fast and much cheaper than others then it suddenly shut down. Alternatively, you can go directly to Enola Gaye and get a nice little discount (10% or so) and free postage on orders that are over £200 if I remember rightly. You cannot buy directly from FBS - I asked pretty much a year ago and they told me to use BulkPyroSupplies. You could try approaching your local site owners. If you're a regular there, and on good terms, you could try asking them to buy them at trade prices and giving you a bit of a discount. Especially if you burn through a load of pyro (definitely not me). It's time consuming but you could just google for the type of pyro you want and see which retailers have it in stock. Be warned that not all retailers will post pyro and require in-store/person collection - I would have spend hundreds at ZeroOne during their closing down sale if they'd have posted pyro. Probably good for me that they wont

  14. You can add comments to the post on the right side. Bold pricing tactic. I wonder how that'll work out for him.
  15. Not done one of these for a bit: Armageddon Airsoft: The Woodland for the past two visits has been a fantastic site. My most recent visit was a great day with very balanced games and the site is constantly changing their game modes to suit player count and to keep things fresh which is a welcome change to other sites i've been to. My L85 has been suffering with random power drops, range and accuracy issues. I swapped to my Mk18 after two games being fed up with the complete dice-roll accuracy of my L85. My Mk18 worked well for two games before it began to produce the same problem of firing once per two trigger pulls but it was intermittent enough that I battled through these issues until the end of the day but annoying nonetheless. BBQ lunch was provided.

  17. It has a 14mm CCW thread so yes. You might have to check the stock muzzle device to see if it has a grub screw that secures it in place before you unscrew it.
  18. You would be best off posting in the Appraisals section here if you're in need of valuation: https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/151-appraisals/ Otherwise, the classifieds section exists.

@B4by_Dr1v3r I'm guessing he's asking retail as they're almost impossible to find in stock & ready to dispatch in the UK. The only ones i've been able to find are the Carbine versions with the shorter handguard. There will be someone willing to buy it... eventually.
  20. It auto applies the discount at checkout - it fooled me too.
  21. I was talking about this on a Discord. I bought 2x of these mags from a retailer in Asia for... £70 including postage. Absolute insanity.
  22. Yes. 100% I use a copious amount of pyro and have been on the receiving end of plenty and I now pretty much always use active hearing protection after i've left airsoft fields with smashing headaches and/or ringing ears far too often to not advocate fields at least offering the disposable foam earplugs on hand for everyone who plays and wants them. There's almost zero downside to using it other than having to buy and set it up. People will debate on this but I will always say I can hear everything that's happening around me sooner than I would without but at the same time, you get tricked into thinking it's closer than it really is if that makes sense. Personally, I use the Earmor M20T in-ear hearing protection. I originally bought mine for £55 on ebay and it seems to still be the cheapest place to grab them. I've always found that the over-ear style hearing protection makes my ears/head sweat too much so the in-ear ones make much more sense (for me). I'd suggest going for the M20 as the '-T' variant are the bluetooth ones which have a red/blue flashing LED when not in range of a connected device. I've had to apply black tape over this light. The M20 doesn't have this light AFAIK but i'm not sure if there's any difference in the technology used in the device.

  24. Easiest and cheapest option: Revision Anti-Fog wipes. They're witchcraft. Breathe on your goggles to steam them up and wipe with the cloth a few times. They take some effort to steam up after that. Using a Delta Mike snood appears to help me because it doesn't trap heat like other face protection. Finally, I use an Exfog unit secured to the back of my helmet with the tubes ran on the inside of the lid, into the goggles. Novritsch has his own type of Exfog unit if you can't find one in stock. I get condensation on the inside of the goggles but rarely do I get actual fogging.

Personally, never had an issue when buying anything but shipping is expensive so don't take the price per item as gospel, you can pay a huge fee in postage and I think it's mostly weight dependant.
