I briefly had a TM AK Storm. I looked at it. I held it. I thought meh. It wasn’t for me. In fact I’ve never been a fan of AK’s I just thought the modern twist to the Storm would convince me otherwise. Alas, it did not.

WE make an exact copy or clone of the AW drum ( or vice versa) and I hazard to guess the internals are the same If not similar. May be worth giving them a shout?

The site looks pretty much fun from their website and I like the sound of pistol only games.... (queue the AAP-01 with a drum mag)... not too sure how I feel about running around on rubber chipping especially if there is a rubber dust problem... Yes… however very unlikely you’ll be able to replace the receiver with a metal one as I can’t see a third party creating one. . Once a TM always a TM no matter what upgrades you do lol

Retail price is £129 from FS add £6.50 for post. Generally these shift around the £90-£100 mark all in. It’s just the nature of the beast. A few months ago every MK23 was being snapped up as there was a UK shortage. Well no retailers had any stock at that time. Stick in a few small upgrades. This pistol is a beast believe you me. With a crazy jet barrel, a hadron TDC and a sniper mechanics 50 degrees pink bucking you can hop 0.4s. It’s insane.

Are we still talking about Airsoft here 😂😂😂 I did that once and came back with a new car. It was the same brand and colour as the old one just more power and more shiny. I was hoping her In doors wouldn’t notice. I kinda got that wrong 😂😂😂 . Let’s get back to new guns now. Right? 🙏🏼

I think this may well end up being the official GBLS thread. After all it begins with a review and we all start chiming in 😂 Myself, I am resisting the temptation. But you know what temptation leads to eventually 😂

My mate is slowly selling all his recoils to move fully to the GBLS platform. Like you he’s about to acquire a second one. I believe he has an upgraded bolt in his which of course gives more of a kick.

On reflection I should of thought this through 😂

I mostly run 0.28’s in my recoils and my pistols. The MK23 can easily hop 0.4’s but I save them for my DMR. I run 03’s in my MWS and PTW. For the AAP I’ll just run the drum on 0.28’s I guess or even 0.25’s as the expected engagement with the drum setup I expect to be between 30 to 40m.

My advice is to buy new. The reason is that you get the 12 months warranty and believe you me when you consider the price of parts it makes sense. A couple of my mates run GBLS’s and they just love them. One has a gen 1 and the other a gen 2. I’ve used the gen 1 and I confess I like it. The gen 2 I’ll get to play with in a couple of weeks. Grab one from somewhere and have a play. You may find yourself hooked.

In my defence I don’t strictly have ownership of the said item as yet. I’ve paid my mate 50% and the remainder will be next pay day. I’ll of course post a pic next month. In the mean time I need to work on my guns to be able to pick the bloody thing up… to say I’m excited is an understatement. 🙈
