Mail drop from impulse101 took 9 days to arrive. Why did I order that brass collar or O ring lol? ??‍♂️

To be honest it's a question of trying it and see what happens. I have a 3.5 which marries up to the CQBR barrel length. If I use the 4.5 or 5.0 the question is will the valve let through more gas at it's minimum setting than say a 3.5 will? Buy one and let us know.. It's all a learning curve for everyone

I agree the MK18 is a great rail. I rock one too. But sadly Marui’s take on it has been well how can I put it nicely... bonkers. You need a tool to take off the barrel nut and you just can’t get to it like you can with a conventional MK18. As I said there’s a special tool available now. Check out my post on p188.

New mount for the T1. Think I should have got a real steel version as opposed to a knock off..... damn. Unity actually supply a template so you can see how the mount actually looks on your rif. Clever way of doing it if you are in two minds.

Is this the G&P adjustable NPAS valve you are talking about? It's the one you just drop into the BCG right?

@Recoil_It's always nice to see a brand spanking new MWS...one can almost smell that new RIF smell when you see it..... The MK18 MWS....... welcome to the world of frustration....! Unfortunately there is no easy way of removing the Marui MK18 rail. I suggest you have a read of the last 50 pages or so and your question will be answered.... Owners on here have found ingenuous ways of removing the barrel nut. I think one even use an angle grinder at some point... ? .You will need to either create a custom tool or find a compatible tool to remove the barrel nut... And which upgraded rubber and hop arm are you specifically talking about.... we are a nosey bunch on here...

I’m trying not to look at that hole where the screw should be in the rail. Damn Ocd. ? The mount does look good! I’m warming to it truth be told. The PTS version is supposed to be a very good licensed replica as you already know from having one. Thanks for the pics. Appreciated.

I’ve been having way too much fun here. Let me explain...... So, I wanted to try out a Unity mount on the MWS and wasn’t sure if I’d want to spend £200 on the real deal. I mean what if I didn’t like it? It’s a lot of money to spend on a real steel mount especially if you don’t like it afterwards. So fortunately Unity provide a template which you can download and create a mock up model of the mount. So guess what I did. Yup. Craft time ? Whatcha think fellas? Cerakote it? ?. On a serious note the mount is pretty tall. It’s a 2.26inch variant which gives you a better shooting position when looking down the barrel. So based on this would you buy one?

Drum roll.... Don’t use Nuprol RZR bbs else the next 200 pages will be even more entertaining lol On reflection maybe I should start showing Nuprol some love? Give them a second chance? Hmmmmm? There you go. If all else fails give it a good bash lol. Truth be told some of the MWS’s are like that too. You just got to give them a wee bash to dislodge any suction or whatever is holding the collar in place with the receiver.

That MTR barrel looks like a giant drill bit...!! If the receiver end is the same as a regular MWS then a wee knock with a rubber mallet should do it... I'd check the manual first though just to make sure there's nothing extra in the MTR receiver/barrel assembly over a MWS just in case there's a grub screw lurking..

It's always good to see this BB debate bubbling along... there really isn't a right or wrong answer when it comes to BB's other than DONT USE NUPROLS in a MWS!!! Like anything with an MWS, no two will probably function the same but will do within tolerances. The science and engineering behind the MWS is such that different people will have varying results. This is so true in the case of BB's. What works well for one person may not necessarily work as good for another. I believe It's trial and error to some degree, not I deal I know but that's the platform we are working with.

Set up a stock alert. They come in in small quantities. Although they have most of the parts in so you can probably make up a new BCG from scratch lol

Folks, Impulse101 have had a huge restock of Marui MWS parts... So get your springs, nozzles, buffers and whatever you feel you need a duplicate of.... or triplicate of or in my case QUADRUPLICATE of (is that even a word lol) And if you choose the airmail option it's about £9 equivalent and takes circa 2 week Happy shopping...

Aimpoint T1 micro 2 MOA. This thing is tiny! It’s an absolutely awesome bit of kit. NV compatibility on the first 4 settings. Not that I have any NODs but hey you never know

The ODIN speed loader has an adjustable clutch. There is a video on the ODIN Facebook page which says how to adjust the clutch as some people were having problems even with the new EPM mags (AEG version). I have two ODINS and they work flawlessly with my NGRS mags albeit you lose a couple off BB's in the Odin's loader pipe..

Only if they have glitter on and covered with Marui fairy dust. Us operators have a rep you know.
