    So I’ve been “at it” again today and finally started mocking up my ghillie hood/upper and actually got the first one knocked up as a test fit/size. The hood’s a little tight on top so I’m gonna slap in a panel on to to give me some more head room, I think I’m gonna widen the neck area so I make my head/shoulders more of a triangle than square/circle which the eyes will notice. I think I’m gonna open the chest area so the edges don’t meet and I might bring the hem up to mid-rift but keep a tail on the back…. Comments and suggestions plz (and before anyone asks WHY you making it ?? The answer is WHY NOT ! I get a custom fit and the fact I can )

    Just to add on what @rocketdogbert but I would add on that you might want to ask a mod to remove the thread or you edit it heavily just in case a member of staff of the seller is here - they would blame you for the issues

    @Enid_Puceflange Yea exactly what I was gonna do - I contacted the seller and they are gonna partially refund me £6 so all good /edit actually they not only refunded £6 on the product price but they also refunded on VAT so they knocked off £7.20 in total //win

    Just bought a Baofeng UV5R as it was on a deal of the day on Amazon, but the clip missing when it turned up so might send it back but it was cheap as chips so might just keep it.

      Way back in the past when Titanic first came out was sat in the coffee room in work everyone’s talking about it , one of the nurses (a particularly pretty but thick as pigshit one) says her new boyfriend was taking her that night . Few minutes later one of the girls turns to me and says “I know you wouldn’t want to see it as it’s a love story but you taking your wife to see it ?” Too which I replied “God no ! Last film she’d want too see , the ship sinks and they all drown !” To which the thick pretty one jumps up and shouts at me “thanks for ruining the film by telling me what happens no point going now !” And flounces off !😳 as I’m sure you can imagine there was stunned silence in the room with everyone just looking at each other then I burst out laughing and everyone else rapidly followed !😂

    I only calculated the 120m/s into FPS - I didn’t bother with working the 0.86g bit out but I kinda assumed that half of .86 is .43 and then double up the 393fps to 786-ish (match box maths) ?? But I know they can handle a .25 in the face

    I use Bollé Pilot II - in CQB they have taken a point blank hit to the lens (well within a metre) and they were golden probably the best £8.95 spent from Amazon . Admittedly I did loads looking for goggles that would go over my spectacles and when I found any I did a lot of fact checking before I bought them via checking their safety information data sheets. The Pilots are rated at Medium energy impact, resists a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball at 120 m/s which is 393fps but it handled a 0.25 BB at 350 with no markings https://www.bolle-safety.com/uploads/tech/6019789922782.pdf

    With recent events to the site, is there a possibility to have a subscriber level/rank that can have the option to turn on & off certain things like advertising and/or sections of the forum that do not interest a person like for example the classified section ? It doesn’t have to be much like a quid a month or even a tenner a year or making the patches a little more than the current £6 ? I am sure majority who use the site daily wouldn’t have a problem supporting the site.

    shame tho - the margins is where my thumbs sit on my device of choice ie my iPad - I’ve opened the site like 20+ Times already It might make people the Nov site is endorsed here - without mentioning to the newbies the current shipping issues from Novritsch and any EU sites… @proffrink For how long the advert running for ?

    /Agreed! But I would say the top two are kinda the type of image that is one step away from asking to be “sectioned” when you go to the “Big House”

    Welcome aboard m80! Yea as mentioned already above 32 is positively classed as a “young’un” here on the AFUK Just get booked in somewhere and once your there just start asking people about their Pew-Pew’s and you will have friends for life (as Airsofters LOVE talking about their load outs!).
