  1. They've literally listed the new price for both items - surely that's not what they're asking....is it? 😲 Speaking of which, those WAS holsters must have gone up in price - sure I paid like £25 for mine.
  2.

Thanks @Rogerborg - "Why to buy?" and in this case "combat size" is stuck in my head. What's more annoying, is I'm waiting on one of these to come via seafreight.

Why not to buy: 12mm thread.

Not an issue if you're looking for a compact pistol and don't intend to over-compensate for anything.

@Rogerborg - Errrr.. yeah not an issue for me....I mean the thread thing, not the....nevermind. I do actually enjoy this guys reviews though.

  3. Try and avoid ordering from evike wherever possible. Nothing inherently wrong with them but with the delivery time and that items always seem to get pulled by customs, it's just rarely financially worth it.

customs is the big one, it'll take a package 2 days to cross the atlantic followed by 2 week crossing the dover docks

I recently ordered an EBR front end because...reasons. What actually turned up was two outer barrels, an EBR sightpost and gas block and a standard M14 flash hider. All in bits as opposed to the "fully assembled" of the description and devoid of the EBR Vortex flash hider. Quick online chat with customer service and it was all sorted, replacement sent FOC and was told to keep the bits I'd been sent in error. Thanks to the goods being marked as zero value there was no customs hold up the second time which highlighted just how long they'd hung on to it before!

I don't think I've ever had anything come from the US that hasn't been molested by customs.  It's pretty much guaranteed.

  4. AAP-01 came today. At work, so haven't even opened the box but on the outside the most prominent wording is "ACTION ARMY COMPANY (AAC) WAS FOUNDED ON THE YEAR 2010 AND IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TAIWAN".....errmmm cool, now I'm...errr..hyped...maybe have a little chat with Tokyo Marui about how to make an airsoft gun box, AAC.

@Cr0-Magnon is actionhobbies the cheapest place you know of btw?

@DestrO - The only other place I saw them was Crawley Surplus and they were the same price. I haven't done extensive research though, just so happens I follow them both on facebook.

  5. The guy wanting the feed lips isn't at all in the wrong there. I have to do things when I think of them or usually end up forgetting. Messaging a company out of hours is something I've done many a time, because of that (and of course most of us work during the day). Had he chased-up for a response five minutes later, the reaction would be in some way understandable (although still unprofessional). As far as I can see that wasn't the case.
  6. Just read through some of that. Whatever Milspec did aside, the ones commenting "got any feedlips? lololol" likely also think the things they shout during the safety briefing are hilarious.
  7. Looking forward to receiving my AAP-01 tomorrow 😎

@Skara - Annoyingly I've had a million WE Glock mags over the years and sold them all. Only got a couple of TM ones now. Although TBH, I'm not a fan of the extended ones as I don't use my sidearm enough to justify my holster being off balance or it protruding from a mag pouch.

Looks like another batch have come in to the country. Crawley Surplus have them and spare mags in stock now too.

Just saw a KM post/story/whatever on instagram.

It looks like a skeletonized MP7.

  8. Oh God....you've opened the Airsoft Imports can o' worms...
  9. Never will I defend a Novritsch product again. The slide stop section on my SSP1 shortstroke slide has pretty much completely worn away and is bent after a few garden plinking sessions. The customer service response is to accuse me of trying to force the slide catch through the wrong cutout...something I'm 100% positive I haven't done.

Errmmmm SSX with holster, suppressor and several mags, SSP1 with the same plus shortstroke slide, scope with all the trimmings, BB's, a tactical belt...signed poster, 2019 wall calendar, 200ml pot of Novritsch's bath water.

jesus man, for that kinda money you could have bought a gun that worked!

      Skara

      Damn.

I get why you're so frustrated with them!

  10. That wouldn't work. "Pay to be a premium seller, so buyers can easily hide your ads from the search results"
  11. He very clearly is, even if not associated with a retailer. This is my favourite: A second hand WE subcompact and some extra mags for £190 plus postage...bargain!
  12. I PM'ed the same question. These are for sale but USD 1000 ++ EDIT: Just to clarify the CZ75 I asked about was $1400 + Not saying it's not worth it. As you say, stunning pieces and all stainless steel but a bit too much for me.
  13. Having a "webuyanyairsoftguns.com" service is actually quite smart. Lots of people build up a collection and then happy to have a big clearout.
  14. Going to avoid your first point in order to keep this thread somewhat on topic, haha. Let's look at it this way. If someone you didn't know was selling a KOA upgraded Marui recoil, would you give them say £800 for it? Afterall, fancy RIF, fancy problems!. Also, if there was an issue, would Sam be happy to pass on any warranty to another owner? I've tried the pizza in Italy and it's terrible! The Slovakian's, now they know how to make a pizza!
  15. 1) Stop topping-shaming people! 2) In my experience it's very difficult to find someone willing to pay any more than £600 for a secondhand RIF. Regardless of what it cost to put together.
  16. Comes back to what was discussed earlier re; expensive real steel grips, sights etc.
  17. This advert is COMPLETED!

    • For sale
    • As new

3D Printed with carbon guide rods. Far sturdier than I expected but as I have an FDE Evo, I decided the original stock looks better. This was literally received last week, slid on to the RIF once and put away. Price stated includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please PM as I don't receive notifications of anything asked on the listing.

    £50

  18. I put a Guarder kit on a Marui G17 and it works!

  19. Also I can't exactly place why but people referring to airsoft guns as "weapons" bothers me.
  20. I have decided to retire young.

    Thanks for the cheese.

    Catch ya's later.

Ye I had one of these. They were really cool. However, I saw pot metal seams on mine and was afraid it would crack if I accidentally dropped it.

    2. Cr0-Magnon

      Cr0-Magnon

@AK47frizzle - It definitely looks the part and this is the "Silo Spec" one with RA-Tech steel parts and TNT barrel & bucking, so shoots very well too. This won't get skirmished much, if at all as it weighs a ton, the mag is a bit of a pain to load and you need the worlds tiniest allen key to adjust hop. I agree the metal could be better but it feels amazing in the hand, I love the full travel slide and it's never splutters even in fairly cool weather.

    3. AK47frizzle

      AK47frizzle

Im thinking of getting the l6 version at some point and running it as a primary because it was pretty damn accurate with the fixed barrel when I still had it.

  21. For me there's also a point where extra mags can't be counted. One or two is nice but I'm not paying £10 - £15 a mag for the other twenty-three beaten-up ones you've accumulated over the years.
  22. I've just paid £1 for 2 x sample bags of these (0.28g & 0.32)!
  23. I guess the 'rona is to blame but just chased up where a RIF I'd bought was (I placed the order a month ago), only to be told it was on back-order and not with them yet. That's the third time in a row!
