  1. Seems like overshooting is a bigger concern than the power we're shooting at. Again, etiquette isn't just about calling your hits. In fact going completely off-topic at some sites I've been to, the bigger issue has been people screaming "AAAARRRRE YOU GOING TO CALL THAT!?!?!??............OHHH COME ONNN!!!!" as the first BB is still flying through the air.
  2. A bit like "my 2003 Corsa is worth £4k because of the £3000 entertainment system"?
  3. Are people extra reluctant to call their hits?
  4. @Sitting Duck - I agree. To me full-auto is strictly for keeping rushing hordes back when they're 30 - 40 metres away and even then it's controlled bursts rather than spray n' pray.
  5. I tried to start this discussion on one of the Facebook groups a while back and the responses were "but to increase it would be illegal"...so to clarify this is of course hypothetical. What do you feel about the power limits where you are? I'm not talking about using our RIF's for home defence or anything silly like that but for skirmishing. If you could change them, would they be higher, lower or stay the same? For example do you fear someone shooting you up close with 350fps/1.14J or do you think with the all the gear most people wear and given that many of our skirmish sites are large woodland areas, we could actually do we increasing the power for more fluid game play/clear hit calling?
  6. My FDE Scorpion EVO is finally here and I've just bought a Pakse Sapper Handguard, retractable stock and red dot sight to dress it up.
  7. A Surefire X300 replica for my SSP1. Well I guess I can put it on any of my pistols with a rail but it looks like it was made for this one...
  8. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

I'm looking for a quality Red dot sight for my Scorpion Evo 3A1. Ideally pretty much as new condition but lesser considered if price reflects that.

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

  9. Just started watching Inception. This is going to make me want a Beretta PX4 isn't it...

@EvilMonkee I used to own the "HK3" one, which was essentially We with trades. Typical WE, slide weighed a ton, it vented like crazy and the paint flaked off everytime you touched it.

My slide on my TM one cracked last year but that was after 5 or 6 years of being abused.  Managed to get a replacement slide and shes all up and running.

  10. Does anyone want to swap their £160 Umarex Glock 19X or unreleased Glock 45 for a third-hand £99 Army Armament?
  11. At my local site they occasionally have regular players act as Marshal's. One of them was telling someone he was born in 2006.
  12. That's more like it! Was there still a heavy upgrading culture or were most playing stock? I got confused by this when I first started! All my site told me was that the limit is 350fps....not mentioning with which weight. I mean it took about five seconds to explain that wasn't the case but still.
  13. Blimey, that's you when you started? You must be a real life Benjamin Button then....or typing from beyond the grave 🤔 RPS and FPS..."My gun only shoots 335 - 340fps, anyone know how I can get it to 349.9?"
  14. At least you used a classic reference and didn't just parrot "OK Boomer"! Hey give it 30 years and people will be saying "During the Corona..."
  15. Basically I'm interested in hearing stories and seeing pictures from people who started playing 15-20 years ago or even further back. Nowadays we're swamped with Novritsh, clickbait videos, 60 rounds per second and "Gucci guns"....take us back to a simpler time!
  16. The best one like that I saw was someone who was running a spring shotgun in an wide open outdoor game. He'd been moaning all day about people not calling their hits, to prove his point he let off one shot roughly in the same direct as someone in a window of a building about 70 metres away before proclaiming "see what I mean! It's out of order!"....errr, yeah mate.
  17. Seems more likely he's tried to remove it with a pair of pliers and torn it up. Also I feel sorry for anyone who turns up to a game day with that sniper rifle and a bottle of 0.20g Bulldog BB's expecting to be the next "American Sniper" Only to reach out 20M on random flight paths whilst trying to make anything out in the shadows of the scope.
  18. I was surprised to see that those ICS are £330. Looks like a Well sniper rifle though, so max like £50 secondhand. Guess they may get £250 for the pair if someone really wants both.
  19. Always found Bolt Action rifles a bit pointless as all the ones I had were only of average accuracy at best. However I am genuinely excited at the thought of using this that's just come back from Luke @ Negative Airsoft. The accuracy is phenomenal and bolt pull so easy and smooth for something which is kicking out 486fps.

bolties at 1j is basically airsoft hard mode.

problem i have with it is you just end up so frustrated at landing a beautiful shot, the target not taking it, and being stuck without the ability to quickly follow up and often not wanting to expose your position to call them out on it.

which is probably why my bolty can only lift .32's and i have 2 assault guns that can lift .48's......

The issue I had with running a 1J BASR is the guys I shot at 15-30M ranges cried like little bitches because one was "scared of a sniper that close shooting at them" and the other was convinced I was running 500FPS and demanded.inwas chronod.

Wasn't worth the hassle so dropped an M150 in and sat an extra 20M back.

      What Adolf said.

In this country there is this retarded mindset that one bb is not a hit and people need to bleed to call them.

So most of the times I shoot at people, hit them, they shrug it off and keep playing, until I blast them in the face or where it hurts the most (inner thigh/armpit says hello), but at that point it's not fun anymore. I'd like to play more as a sniper because the overall role is extremely fun (slipping past opponents, realying their positions and movements to my teammates, taking shots to disorient them, you know, what makes it fun) but gets old fast when people just consider you an inferior being.

  20. Come on guys, you're slacking. Where are the new reports of flagrant dreamery?

    Gamble

I would be interested to hear of the situations you've gotten kills in. I have only been taken out in melee once and that was when I was the last person defending a building against a team attacking from several angles. I kept switching-up where I was firing from and was doing pretty well at holding them back, until I went over to the door and a guy with a knife was flush against the outside of the wall, so literally just had to swing his arm around.
  22. Oh wow, yeah that is bad. An "old" shotgun which hasn't been used for ages and in two tone for £14 less than a brand new one with the faux wood actually showing.
  23. This has gone off topic but I will just say that the main issue I've seen is a lot of new players seem to be under the impression that if you want to improve the gears you just unscrew the gearbox and chuck an expensive set in. The key ingredient to actually "upgrading" your gun is fine tuning so all the parts work exactly as they should and in unison with the others.
