  1. Looks awesome man! I wouldn't entirely disagree with you. My upper body is OK but my lower back has started to play-up in recent years - probably because I work in an office and spend way to much time sitting down. Need to do more walking/cycling after work.
  2. You went full Kicking Mustang, man. Never go full Kicking Mustang.
  3. That's fair enough. I'm 30 years younger and have done the same on occasion!
  4. I actually think this is far more common than not taking hits at all. I've seen members of my own team take hits, walk back a few paces then come back in. I've tried both approaches, talking to them directly and having a word with a Marshall, neither seems to change the behaviour. They're usually rentals or players who seem to turn up for a few weeks in a row, never to be seen again. I'd go mad if I tried Marshalling at my local site. They get a lot of rentals who dry fire in the safe zone, use their rifles to prop themselves up in the mud and instinctively lift their eye pro up to cooldown. Plus of course the lack of hit taking/not taking it properly. Not to say regulars never commit those fouls!
  5. I was at Tactical Warfare Airsoft in Croydon on Saturday. I'd been feeling burnt out with airsoft but wanted to force myself to go, so wasn't expecting much. Surprisingly I had an excellent day. 12C, so chilly at first but perfect for running around. They have limited the number of players to 60 (peak days they used to get 150+) who have pre-booked and that seemed the perfect number. I think @Asomodai did a review noting high numbers leading to a lot of spraying and praying and not much in the way of tactics. With 60 there were enough to have a decent number of targets but still being able to pick your shots and move forward without facing a constant hail of BB's. Also the first time using my FDE Scorpion Evo and it performed excellently, especially once I'd dialled in my red dot. My only gripe, was the same one I always have with airsoft, the lunch break is too long. I'd be fine with half an hour to chow down and get back out there but they always seem to stretch 1hr 30 - 2hrs and not only do I get bored but my muscles cooldown and seize up too much! Still I stayed for the second half and again everything went well until my gun seemingly jammed. It was only half an hour or so before the end, so called it a day. Got the cleaning rod out when I got home but there didn't seem to be anything blocking the barrel. A peak up the magwell revealed a spring around the nozzle and I quickly realised where the one from my bottle of BB's had ended-up (I had noticed it missing earlier in the day but couldn't be arsed to do anything about it). It must have been poured in to my hi-cap mag and fed through! Fortunately I was able to do a basic disassembly and it doesn't seem to have done any damage. Long story short, I'm back in the game baby!
  6. £30 for postage! Although to be fair, they've managed to modify M4 magazines so they fit in M4 pouches...genius!
  7. You can even buy it with the A5 stock already fitted for the same as the other versions.
  8. Not only that but take a secondhand Marui pistol for example. If it's £100 + £15 postage + £4 fees = £119. Quite often you can find the same pistol brand new and with postage (and yes Paypal fees) included from firesupport for £10 - £15 more.
  9. This is one of my pet peeves. Which other way is there to pay? Unless I knew the seller well I wouldn't feel comfortable paying cash upon collection. Plus at least state how much extra postage cost (I know in this case they've stated "free" but in general) would be. Plus of course it's overpriced. These are £400 new, 4 x mags and a foregrip don't warrant £340 on top of the £240 (at 60% value for the RIF alone).

  11. It's all the people who messaged him about their RIF's and followed-up five minutes later with "hello!??!?!?"
  12. Next you'll be getting the Black Mamba upper receiver!
  13. Noob question and probably not thread-worthy...can you mount an optic on an M4A1 carry handle?

thought not, youre bloody nicked sunshine

  14. Oh wow, that's quite something. I just had a quick check and they probably did pay around £400 new for the whole package but considering it's two tone and how little mags, batteries, foregrips and replica sights and slings are worth as extra's it probably needs to be about 50% of what it's advertised at.

  16. I removed the trigger safety on my G17 and lost the spring. The gun works perfectly without it, now I'm strongly considering not putting it back on 🤔
  17. My third cat, which I've had for two weeks now..
  18. I mean people who try to assure you that the rifle will be spot on just as soon as you add a washer or screw to that part etc. Although, how would you know how much to knock-off unless you knew what the issue was? Otherwise you're just selling as boneyard and we're talking pennies on the pound.
  19. Having owned a few WE Glocks, I can confirm these are superior.
  20. This advert is COMPLETED!

For those unfamiliar with this model, it's Glocks submission for the US Military contract and combines the full grip length of the Glock 17 with the shorter slide of the 19. This airsoft version is officially licensed by Glock and in my opinion much better quality than the WE Tech line. The usual story with me, I bought this a few months back and it's not been skirmished. I did however test it at a range and was very impressed with the snappniess, distance and gas efficiency I was getting. One of the features I particularly like is being able to adjust the hop without removing the slide but as a lefthanded shooter I also find the ambidextrous slide release (believe the mag release is too but don't quote me on that) very convenient. Two extra mags (so total of three included) and it will come in it's original box, which is also in excellent condition. Cost new- Umarex Glock 19X - £160 2 x Mags - £70 Total Package cost = £230 Price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Any questions should be answered quite quickly but please PM as I don't get notifications for anything added to the listing.

    £155

  21. I can't tell if that's black or FDE? Either way, what do you need a manual for!?
  22. Because we all know it's just an excuse to sell a non working RIF or accessory and claim "Well I was told that's all that was needed to get it sorted "
  23. Supporting the local economy is one thing but this was a £45 order and the parts aren't available in The UK. So paying nearly 50% in top is more than a tad frustrating....

I ordered a set off body pins from out the UK - 12.99 - Customs tried too charge me £8.99 VAT + 8.00 Handling. Imagine Post  Brexit.

If it was actually protecting UK industry, you could see the point, but we don't make most of this stuff, and couldn't come anywhere near to competing on price even if we did.

It's just more money to the exchequer at this point.

@Rogerborg - Doubly frustrating because I realised I'd order the wrong part colour pretty much as soon as I checked-out. E-mailed the seller and they replied that they don't have it in the other colour and dispatched this one almost immediately because I was asking to cancel it.

  24. Has no one brought this one up? From £700 for a pistol with no hop chamber, barrel or bucking to £350 for half a pistol. Not saying you could build it yourself for less, just that it goes to show that no matter how much you put in to a build, there's a maximum value when selling them on.
