  1. I did actually feel like the gun was very snappy on semi-auto with it in....hmm, will have a think. Cheers!
  2. So I'm back in the AAP club after selling my Black Mamba build some time ago. Before I'd fired a shot, I installed a CTM FUKU-2 (great name, huh) trigger, which I really like the look and feel of. However I probably spent more time trying to get the perfect position on the overtravel grub screw, than it took me to actually get the trigger in there. I'm still not happy with the grub screw, especially as it's wobbly and I don't really want to screw glue it. Can someone explain "overtravel" to me and if I really need to use the grub screw? I also don't know whether to keep the upper stock, go for another Black Mamba or a CTM two piece job (although IMO they're overpriced) 🤔 As much as I love the look of the Black Mamba, it did seem to negatively affect cooldown, quite significantly.
  3. Realistically this applies to everything you sell. The amount of times I've listed something and received ten enquiries in the first hour, practically begging for it. Makes me think I could have asked a bit more! Plus everyone fancies themselves a wheeler dealer these days #wotsyabestprice
  4. I believe you'll find they still have a rule about when full-auto can be used. ie not at all in certain games and also not when you're within a certain distance.
  5. Something I've only just worked-out is that you need to ensure the inside of the bucking fits through the barrel window nicely. For example I love 50 degree Flamingo buckings but they don't work in barrels with narrow cuts. I would advise checking that on yours. Also you would need to pair it with a suitable nub. I know in AEG's a lot of the stock hollow nubs just get squashed if you try to hop heavier ammo.

Took delivery of this from Asia last week. No it's not inline with second-hand value but it is less than it cost (yes I had to pay customs) me and I'm happy to hang on to it. However as I'm strongly considering another AAP-01 build, I thought I'd offer it up for sale if anyone wanted a much quicker and easier delivery. I've run maybe two mags through it, just for testing purposes and it's lovely to shoot. IMO AA have stepped-up the quality from their previous offerings. Comes with the pictured SRO clone, which sits perfectly on the recessed RMR plate. However at this time I cannot include any mounting screws, as they weren't in the box. I have asked the retailer to send me some and if they arrived before this sells, I'm happy to include them. I've listed as "used" because minor paint rubbing is unavoidable, even during minimal use or stripping to clean and lube etc. However it hasn't been anywhere near a skirmish. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked postage. Please ask any questions via PM, as I don't get notifications from the listing.

  7. IMO, the TM MP7 is the best venture into GBBR's - even if they're not a full length rifle. They're so versatile, decent range and mine has never even thought about cooling down. I would assume the AA R36 is a case of buy cheap, buy twice if you're considering doing some serious skirmishing with it.
  8. Cheers, have messaged him.
  9. Apologies if it's already been asked but can anyone recommend a company who offers a reasonable turnaround time? I'm only after an AEG handguard doing. The last company I used took nine months and cerakoted over the tritium sights.
  10. Is this £175 or £275? You've listed both prices.
  11. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

  12. Plus it has iron sights! I prefer the colour of this one though as I've got many black guns.
  13. I actually have mine now, I had to import it from Asia. It's a much darker, brick-like colour than it looks in photos. The finish is nicer than the other AA Hi-Capa I had, but the paint is still quite thin and as such has already come off in the areas which are subjected to some rubbing. I like how the outer barrel sits in the compensator, seems to make for a very flat shooter. The mag goes in smoother than any pistol I've ever had. It also has one of the most realistic (to real steel), triggers I've come across. It has just the right amount of stiffness and then a nice crisp break. It would have been nice if they included an extended silver mag like they do with the RS. I think it would be easily distinguishable from the real thing, side-by-side but I'm happy enough with it overall, for the price. Actually my biggest gripe is something which mirrors the RS, it doesn't have any iron sights. This was especially annoying as mine came without screws for the SRO.
  14. Any you fancy from here? https://hicapahub.co.uk/collections/hammer-assembly?page=1
  15. Are they completely broken? Most of the time they can be brought back to life with silicone oil/and or some kind of grease.
  16. We laugh but reading some of their Google reviews, people expect way too much from their £20 springer or £50 AEG. .....or maybe we're the idiots for thinking £50 is dirt cheap for a toy gun? 🤔

Bought a while back but I ended up selling the pistol before this was ever needed, so completely as new. May fit other models (such as G18C's) but buyer is responsible for researching compatibility and installing correctly. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please PM me any questions, as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing.

  18. Forgot to follow-up on this, thanks for the replies. The Novritsch team suggested screw glue and it seems to be doing the job so far.

Not skirmished but used for some garden plinking, looking over it briefly, it appears that the main wear (although not major) are marks on the hammer. This realistic (full-metal and licensed trademarks) replica cycles well on CO2 and green/stronger canned gasses. I will note that while there doesn't appear to be a noticeable leak on the CO2 mag, it does seem to lose gas after a while. Also included will be 2 x extra green gas mags, these feature factory painted "aging" for a more authentic experience. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please ask any questions via PM, as I don't get notified of anything added to the listing.

  20. Related question, how many people always use the slide release? I feel like that carves away at the slide. As such I mostly pull the slide back and let the slide release drop before releasing the slide.

    TM MWS Longevity

So you want to replace the parts straight away, just in case they wear out in the future and you have to replace them?
  22. Go for a TM, don't worry about the plastic slide. It just helps it cycle more reliably and you don't even think about it in the situations you'd actually need a pistol for.
  23. The gas already in the mag was probably from when the retailer tested it, prior to sending. I've used Abbey Predator Ultra, since Luke at Negative Airsoft recommended it. It's simple though. Wear is caused by every use, in warmer weather it'll probably run fine on Nuprol 1.0 and wear slower. It'll be snappier and more powerful on 2.0 or Abbey Ultra and wear that bit quicker. I will add though, I did a test the other week when it was particularly cold (around 2C), using Nuprol 3.0. I left my mag out in the garden for a couple of hours. On shooting it didn't feel overpowered and only chronoed around the expected 300fps. So yeah, up to the individual to decide on what they want from it based on ambient temperature and how bothered they are about parts wearing sooner (which higher powered gas will always do).
