  1. Doing the classic p90? Shot gun from here, rubbing alcohol....for.....reasons Oh and picked up a Pikapool patch as i am going to lean into that...
  2. I won't post the three pistols here that sum up the train of thought with this thread, but everyone who has looked at the gas pistols section knows the ones i mean. When i joined the forum years (shit, that long?!) They were one of the first ads i saw. Sure they are pretty and there is even a guy on fb that has the whole (as in fuck me sideways thats a lot of cash in that) collection of toys. But seriously no one is buying at that price.
  3. If this is the best gas gun you have ever used, why are you selling/trading for other gbb?
  4. I might (definatly) have a cqb itch/bug. Got lots of kills, died lots. Really intense. Overall a grand day of shooting but my gods why did i decide to red 1 on the day that one of the key crossing of the river is closed and the other major crossing is running at 50% capacity! Ok for those that dont know london, it caused a major shitshow that meant the 90mins tfl told me it would take was really 2.5 hours of near torture.
  5. This people getting over shot or moaning due to head shots because only their head is showing? Today i learned that i should just buy ammo on site if i am on public transport, more space for water/sports/salts drinks. Seriously i did 5lt yesterday in prep for today and still did 8lt water and 1lt (2x500ml) lucazade before leaving site. There were some today that were not hydrating as they should. Also learnt i really enjoy the cqb. Not the loose collection of structures some call a 'village' but the full on "small but perfectly formed" Red 1 Chiselhurst. So intense. I also reaffermmed i enjoy the look on peoples faces when tell them how much my toy gun cost after desicivally beating them in a firefight.
  6. I finally bought a shotgun! A bargain from here thanks to @planty Boots (that fit) And ammo for sunday
  7. You're a massive tease, you can't/shouldn't just drop that on a thread and walk away. On behalf of the forum (well mostly my curisoity) i demand pictures, an explanation <jjjspiderman.gif>
  8. Well done to you two. Still, not sure how it is more expensive to get to than zmart....
  9. I am not connected to the site at all. Now that is out if the way, it looks like these guys https://echelonairsoft.co.uk/ are offering flattery to Z-mart by copying them. Have a look around, there are some raised eye brows with a couple of there rules but this is likely to be due to the locals. £30 for a days of cqb. On Fb they only appear to have 'before' photos so would be curious to see the full set up. Like the idea of a local pistol/shotgun night. Now, my game sites are booked in til late October so that will be my earliest visit to this site, but if anyone gets there before me....
  10. This is where we begin to get to the bones of it. How much would you marshal for? If you are marshalling for game days, how many games have you played under this arangement? Then we hit the financials of the hobby. Rent will be your biggest monthly expense, and staff, should be your next. My thoughts, marshals should be paid, should have 'training' (although what this means i am not sure) and should get a weekend of every month to go play.
  11. I'd try to look closed in that part of the world as well. I keep wanting to make the journey over to these guys as it is a 'london' store but damn its a long ass trip
  12. 1, Sisco 2, 3, Picard Have yet to see a thread desend into a D&D topic so i despute 'peak' nerd
  13. Again, thats the £2 a sack stuff 😂 I am partial to some black teas which might be quicker than the filter... As to the Picard test, (and this may light up the thread) i'll take my hot drinks advice from 2 better captians from ST.
  14. This might be why i am not making friends at site, i'm a (cheap arse) coffee snob, i bring the grounds and a filter....just use the hot water......... *tuts* free coffee ha!
  15. 4lt on a skirmish day, 2 on the back and 2 in the bag for refill at lunch. I do need to get in to the habit of salts and electrolites replacement. I do drink coffee like a feind though this is mostly due to getting to site early having packed properly the night before and then have little to do except chew the fat, gwak at others kit and drink coffee.
  16. @proffrink hey, as the admin you can perminatly delete comments right? I just feel this comment attacks too many of us 😂
  17. Thats not really a though is it. You dont ever settle on 'thats my next purchase' just an endless cycle of 'i'm really going to buy this, but i still really like the look of.....' Or at least thats the way i found it. I have 'almost' settled on next assault style toy and down to *hem* 3 shotguns.....
  18. Yeah, that will do it. I often wondered at the gbbr crowd with their really economical shots and low ammo count. Then i looked up the cost of mags.....
  19. With the p90, its the mags as well. Although Wolf Armouries (pre covid) did let me grab a couple of mags to try the change. It would take a lot for me to get the leg setup comfy. Also buffer tube stocks. Put one on any toy (unless m4/ar) and i like it less. Another mention for glocks as well, for all of the reasons mentioned above, and everyone has one or glock adjacent, sigs, they are short glocks. I choose this hill.
  20. Held the Evo, not fired, and frankly it almost made it on to the 'i have a savings pot for this gun' list. Dont see the issue The P90 has been a dream gun and does have a savings pot, well it did til i got my hands on one. Cramped. Bullpups. That is all.
  21. @Cr0-Magnon mine are very similar to yours, well the first two 1) mid-caps are the way forward 2) comfort over (uni)form There was a three when i started but after a long arse day its gone
  22. Crono: i am suspisious of any site that doesn't have manditory crono. Mayhem (essex) in my estimation went from "wow this is a great site" to "hold on, lead marshal said/did what!" As to tagging, a second on the mini zip ties (rotate weekly/daily) or e cheeky bit of tape round the stock or grip make it really easy to see what has been crono'd.
  23. @MiK i'll be near Binley /se cov visiting family. I had planned on going solo to Warzone on the Sunday as a consolation prize for missing out on the z-mart fun
  24. So here is an odd one, anyone traveling down from Coventry/birmingham that wants to share fuel costs? I would be able to bail on family commitments but the train prices are a tough justification.
