The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
Given that we can shoot each other (outside) again real soon, thought I would bump this thread for the Easter weekend activities. -
I'm late to this party, Disney+ is how I finally managed to watch all of CW, i had to pretend not to be too excited when my partner mentioned getting it for the actual Disney stuff for our kid. A complete rewatch of 1-7 + rogue1 with said kid but he still has trouble getting into the 'kids' shows. Rogue 1 and the Mandolorian are the best live action star wars, i'll die on this hill. Looking forward to 2003 CW that was unofficial aaanndd all if the SW content announced recently....

Hey, Old People.... This is peak ergonomic design. If you cant handle that, then I dont know how to help. Yeah, ok I lied. If it shoots ok then some a couple of rattle cans can 'fix' the look, well the colour. As to visual media be that tv, cinema or gaming I am seeing a lot of vectors. As to what I see as beautiful gnu shape, classic AK with a skeleton stock. -
Extreme airsoft have got a sale on big ticket items such as ICS and E&L https://extremeairsoft.co.uk/sale-items/ It has one of my dream items for £250, enjoy

Mollie is a black hole isn't it? Picked up a battle belt and a mag pouch from here. But between that and my rig I now have nowhere to put the flash bangs! They used to sit on a webbing belt and fit into a 84 mag pouch anf the water proof nature of those worked. So now I need to find something like that but molle.... Let the hint begin! -

I have just joined the mid cap elite with a battle axe hex and winding loader for testing purposes - now I know they fit and feed well I just need to decide how many to carry... I may have to learn to restrain myself from the fun button.... -

Edit: dude is from Wimbledon so bbguns4less is off the hook - Just BBguns looks to be the culprit -

Wow, I mean, wow. Time, I think for a compilation of 'Mack's biggest dreamers of 2020'. Well that is my evening sorted for tonight. This does look so much better than it used to, the old ads are clearly left over from last time. The people running this needed to just delete all old ads and put in some rules similar to here or prefired. -

Airsoft competitions have given a few away recently, maybe people are just wanting to get the resale for a gun they actually want..... -

£80 for a baby carrier is a bargain, that it is also crye and tactical is amazing! My LennyLamb cost £120 I still swear by it but needed a bag as well. Think about it, tactical nappy changes! -
I am London based (but yet to actually play in this neck of the woods), my brothers that got me into airsoft live down that way and it is now their local site. I plan on getting to Tactical Warare Croyden when we can play again. I have stuck a rambling review up, but the short version is go and give it a go, i liked it.

Another shout out to Combat South Woodland. Reasons are simple enough: great marshal team - banter with no shits taken or given (unless it impacted on the game), lunch - those who know, know, games & terrain - they knew what they had and how to use it. @Shamal and @Groot have you tried Ambush activities yet? I made it down early October (felt like a CS reunion day with most blues being CS regs), sure there were a few reds being outranged and crying. However overall it was a good solid day out. I keep meaning to write it up for here.....it still might happen....

Just a touch hopeful, but if I did have a spare grand to drop into the hobby it wouldnt be like this. I dont understand how people can gather a collection like this in such a short time without 1. Playing a game 2. Really being able to afford it. Maybe it is the budgetsoft nature of my hobby, but then I have played games.... -

https://prefired.co.uk/ads/well-mb4405-custom-vsr10-airsoft-sniper-rifle/ Yours for just £30 thats right £30 over retail price from bbgunzfirless! Add in the £60 for postage and a load of bb's from a brand I have never heard of and you have a real dreamer. So with a touch more google fu I managed to find this gun with bi-pod and scope for £165 (again bbg4l) so really this is a massive saving of £15 off retail.... https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/well-mb4405-custom-vsr10-airsoft-sniper-rifle-in-green.html -

I admire your ability to let shit go. I am fairly certain that had that been me, my response would be along the 'you were dead before you turned' mood. If they challenged, I would (and have) told players to get a marshal to hit check me. Range on an aeg can be tough but I also know I can nail someone at 60m. With my cheap ass, zero upgrades pew slinger -

My day went well! First time out since, well too long. Ended up having a semi reunion shooting day, went to Ambush Activities, great site (with a fuller review to follow in correct section), lots of Combat South regs (which mostly ended up on the same team....). I got hit checked by a marshal, as it turns out many did. The reason for this is clear, reds claimed we were not taking hits. 80% of blue were hit checked, turns out they were flat out being out shot and didnt get that they needed to be closer.... Fun was had by all (most). That Titan battery (brick) is a work horse. I am partial to using the fun button, suppressing fire and all that. Did the whole day with no sweat and still has more than 60% charge! Worth the money. Edit: They get more points for having a marshal run around and taking pictures so I now have two in my gear! -

If my plastic slinger bought it, I would have to scrimp and save for another. It would mean running around with a pistol and/or shotgun in woodland, or that I didnt play for an amount of time. Graft, dont grift. But if you do want to donate to my dream gun, I am accepting Hardballers.... -

I have bought <ginnie-aladdin-unlimited-cosmic-power.gif> a Titan brick and charger! Reports on how that goes next week at Ambush (near Southampton) New Kombat uk patrol boots and a vertical grip finish my splurge.
