    Currently bollocks deep on trying to get a mate's LCT RPK he purchased second hand with lots of work done to, way above my paygrade but we hope for the best lol

    Turns out it's a Negative Airsoft build from about two years ago, detailed in this video so I'm going to gingerly toptoe around all the work and hope pressing the jefftron's reset button brings it back to life 😅

      Would be probably be worth it trying another fuse. Also might be worth investigating the connection to the battery.

      Has the RPK style rear sight, which is a plus. The East German Bakelite handguard is an unusual choice.

    Anyone else is disappointed in IWA 2024 with all airsoft releases and big plus that G&g LevAR seems like an April fools joke...

      Yeah it was a bit underwhelming. Cybergun's stand was decent. They had a FAL aeg that I hope will come to market this year.

      Hard to beat a TM pistol for skirmish use. Also one or two that I used to know being crazy about AAPs are now focussing their efforts on a ghm9 build.

    Do you use a LiPo bag for storage or just for charging?

      Store them in lipo bags. Charge on a tile floor. The Batsafes are very appealing, have been sorely tempted in the past.

    Super impressed by Orga and Japanese post. Ordered something like... a week ago, it was sent on the 6th and Parcelforce already attempted to deliver it yesterday (10th).

     

    And by attempt to deliver, I mean they shoved a card through my door without knocking. Getting them to redeliver it to my local post office so I'll have my VSR widebore barrel ready for this Sunday's skirmish!

      ICS still make some of the longer barreled models. Fire support have some of their AR model in stock. Cyma produce the SAR. Also King Arms seem to occasionally make some MAR batches.

      Fire Support & Kingdom of Airsoft have had the Maple Airsoft springs in the past. Perhaps email them and ask if they are getting a restock anytime soon?

    Absolutely blown away by the standard of service from X-Fire. The process for ordering is certainly a bit odd, but you can't argue with ordering something from Japan and having it in your hands 5 days later. Been struggling to find somewhere with a good stock of PDI barrels for a while, suffice to say should I ever need any more that's where I'll be going.

      Interesting they have added a 6.04 option since the last time I visited that website.  Five days is very good from Japan. As regards the spend, the Edgi steel and Airsoft philosopher barrels are even costlier.

      King Arms Galil MAR? You seldom see any Galils on sites. Can't remember the last time I saw a MAR in the flesh.

    Anyone here with A Real Sword Type 56? What mags work well without me having to convert real steel ones? Cheers.

      Have used mag plastic midcaps in the best, with a bit of sanding to their tabs. Airsoft world have some RS midcaps in stock. Lovely but pricey.
