  1. There seems to be a lot of the same posted by them here and the Airsoft Society forum.
  2. It's also the sheer number of potential loadout it would fit. World War 2 Para, Nam Aussie, GWOT Coalition, CIA SAD and Bush war Mercs. Something like a MK2 and MK1 (with a conventional sight) would cover a massive range. Even would make a decent holster filler for a generic Opfor.
  3. Different sites and events will have different criteria and rules. Some make it calibre based such as only 7.62/.308 replicas. Others have minimum engagement distances with power levels. Bolting a scope on a M4 and using it to spam semi at a higher power, is looked down on by many.
  4. It's a bit annoying. Especially when your consider that the company had a hi power springer many years ago. If you want a GBB you are pretty much stuck with the fairly cack WE. In contrast say the Tokarev, has had WE,SRC and KWA making models as one stage or another.
  5. Imagine it will be an impressive price. Speaking of newer guns, surprised it's taking the various manufacturers so long to bring out a MCX Spear.

    Marui G36c+

Nice to see the G36 get a tune up. Hopefully they will do similar to the K model.
  7. Might be waiting a while. Think he burnt his smock.
  8. Will be interested to see what kind of gearbox arrangement they have in these. Hopefully the wait between a shell ejector and a skirmishable model isn't as long as the K98K.
  9. Fair play for originality. Suggestion would be a pair of boots.
  10. That's an improvement on the last show they had a stand at (MOA perhaps?), where they only had one FN type replica. Here's hoping this is the year.

    AEG WA2000

That makes sense. Glad they decide to revisit some of their old range. Makes the possibility of a X95 Tavor greater than zero.

    AEG WA2000

Interesting choice on their part. Think they had a WA 2000 springer in the past.
  13. Would add a +1 to the PTS. Cheaper mags can be a limiting factor if they won't reliably feed heavier than 0.28g.
  14. The last time I ordered something from Brownells, it just arrived. Didn't get a dispatch notice. Took about two weeks.
  15. Perhaps take out one of the other allen screws and measure it? Use something like a ruler to get the dimensions, if you don't have the use of a callipers.
  16. From what I remember, Jefftron have a UK stockist. Perhaps try giving them a email? Might be able to get a set for you. https://www.socomtactical.net/
  17. Think there was a Maxx model. No experience with it. Something like this: https://www.begadi.com/tuning-internals/aeg-rifles/hopup-units-systeme/maxx-model-g36-cnc-alu-hopup-unit-fuer-s-t-ares-versionen-gst.html
  18. Would be handy if they were useable with one another, given how scarce they are. Similar to loaning an AKM magazine to a AK74 user. Not true to the real ones but convenient in a pinch.
  19. Have a stockpile of G&G 0.28g which I plan on using for support gun in the future. Have also used Azimuth BBs, with good results. Although they seem to be a thing of the past. Have a few bags of Bushido which I plan on using at some stage this year. Also have a few bags of Geoffs 0.32g. Will eventually find something to feed them to. Unfortunately some magazines don't feed reliably with heavier BBs. Okay if you can use PTS midcaps, less so if it's a unicorn gun.
  20. A thorough cleaning of the selector plater with isopropyl alcohol. Then a dab of superglue. Worked for me for Titans and Asters in the past. Can be very irritating indeed.
  21. Yep, from what I remember the KA L1A1 and FAL series can't use each others magazines. Bit annoying at times.
  22. Fire support still have the L1A1 hicaps in stock. Greek airsoft still have the FAL bipod available. So will 2024 be the year that King Arms finally deliver?
  23. That's very annoying. Unfortunately the occasional airsoft project is a write-off.
  24. Did you leave it long enough? Last time I had a particularly difficult to remove flash hider. Left it in boiled water for about ten minutes Then used an oven glove to remove it.
  25. Would strongly recommend the TM m4 style speedloader. The smaller pistol style would seem relatively forgiving, had the cheaper ones work no problem. No so much with the larger type. Also tragically some of the more eccentric designs have been discontinued. Such as the "eagle" loader, which came complete with veins.
