  1. What make of l85 does he have as it is a case of depends? There should be Airsoft replicas of a susat that will fit and be significantly cheaper and lighter than a real steel susat.
  2. Hi there is a separate appraisal section you need to post in.
  3. have you checked the FPS limit at the site you play at? Some sites restrict DMRs to 450FPS max limit.
  4. have you played any games yet? UKARA is just one form of defenced (for airsofters the most easily recognised) if you have and can prove it you have defence.
  5. there are two versions of the M9 one has a fixed-ish hop and one has adjustable hop you want the adjustable hop. the WEs are copies-ish of the TMs. performance wise the TM are superior but have plastic slides.
  6. I have shot 65m confirmed on a range with an out the box cyma M14. It possible took me 8 shots to get the hit though.
  7. It's a 20 year old gun design with a plastic body. TM armalites were always a let down.
  8. You'll either get a gun that shoots like a laser and out ranges anything or will break after a couple of shots or the stock will snap but it keeps shooting.
  9. There is a two tone marushin 8mm M1 on used Airsoft at the moment. It breaks my heart.
  10. damn i forgot tipman actually do a buffer tube that takes two C02 bulbs but its an HPA system so no recoil and again limited number of shots, not easy to change mid game an relatively expensive to run.
  11. Having had a look does say the mags are compatible still no guarantee on the hop matching. I still stand on if you cannot find the specific part in stock don't buy a broken gun.
  12. Only paint ball guns have internal tanks and they make the stock over sized. An Airsoft gun with an internal gas tank probably hasn't be produced since the late 90s. For what these guns are they are cheaply made and there is no incentive for manufactures to make a gun to such a high standard that seals won't fail sooner or later. Why do you want a gas gun? If you are looking for recoil and bolt stop on empty mags look at Tokyo marui guns. The mags are about half the price of gas guns. Just to advise if this is for real steal CQB training, neither gas or the recoil guns are going to produce any where near the same recoil as a real gun.
  13. I would look to drill holes in the upper receiver if you want to attach the rail. Or just skip the rail and zip tie the torch directly.
  14. If gas is stored internal you reduce the volume of available gas you may only have room for the same amount of gas as one mag making the gun only good for 100 or so shots. That maybe sufficient but it is restrictive and you also have the risk of the seals going mid game on the tank making the gun useless where as if a mag seal goes in game you just switch. It's been done manufacturers no longer do it
  15. I would search Google to see if there are parts diagrams for both guns to see the they match. ASG rebrand OEM guns there is no guarantee that either gun comes from the same manufacturers. However if a Google search doesn't provide specific hops in stock anywhere avoid. Never buy a broken gun unless you are sure you can get parts and know you can fix it.
  16. This has an image of where the c02 bulb fits https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/ghk-m4-stanag-magazine-co2
  17. Look at how the existing rail is mounted. The mounting points should be replicated on the other side. If not modification is required.
  18. Sorry you'll regret that really should have spent the money and got the Tokyo Marui M45A1 mags they are worth the money fire support have then £25 each.
  19. Depends if you ever want to sell it. Painting it no matter how good a paint job lowers value. However if you are going to keep it do what ever makes you happy.
  20. Too vague a question with not enough information. what do you want to do? are you wanting a true DMR locked to semi with higher FPS? or do you just wat a bit more range. also you really don't want to start upgrading and go down the DMR route with out a back up gun. i would use the search function there are a lot of posts about DMRs read and figure out what you wat the gun to do.
  21. Unless the gearbox casing is damaged it maybe worth looking up a YouTube guide a opening the gearbox up and trying to fix it. What's actually wrong just to make sure it actually is the gearbox?
  22. What gun is this replacement gearbox going into? Even thought they are version 2 gearboxes they are not exactly the same and may require modification to fit. Performance wise don't known about KWA SHS make reasonably good quality parts. If you are buying them in the uk both should be site legal but you can't say for sure until you fit them and chrono them.
