bang for your buck a cyma is a really good bet. Every Thompson is a TM clone other than the WE GBBR. i would warn the ergonomics are awful and the real steel guns were design by a big guy for big guys so you might have issues with stock length.

Most 1911s out there are TM clones, but there is no guarantee that any parts are straight cross compatible. Even the the TM specific after market stuff generally needs modding. So KJW, WE ( and all the off shoots), APS should fit bit may require modification.

the mag makes the gun much more useable. i can only get 2 fingers on the grip with the standard mags

It should be straight forward. Is the barrel able to move freely in the slide when it's off the frame barrel a guide rod would be the most likely culprit. Next make sure the barrel is seated properly before trying to fit it. Also can't see from the pics is the hammer cocked when you try to fit the slide?

sound like the valve knocker is not resetting if its protruding it will cause the mag to vent when inserted in the gun. the gun has a trigger bar that links the trigger to the firing mech it could be damage. Sorry to say anyone who told you TM guns are fine on green was wrong they were designed to run on 144A and with the recent high temperatures something has most likely prematurely worn out i would look up to see if there are any Youtube disassembly vids.

have you actually used it yet? airsoft QC is not good, performance of a model can vary wildly from unit to unit. 1st off give the barrel a proper clean. then next game day go to the range with some different weights of good quality bbs and just get set get the hop set with the ammo to get best consistency/accuracy. If you can hit centre mase at 50m you are doing good.

The adaptor is only 6 quid and takes two seconds to fit.

where the hell can you get it for £300 new? i paid £350 for mine last month with a discount code in the UK. if you can find the mags in stock they £60 to £80 each. the only way you can get these for below £300 is from Asia then add a £100 for shipping a fees if it makes it.

The Korth is ironically utter garbage can barely run a mag.

It's a 20 year old gun design with a plastic body. TM armalites were always a let down.
