  1. Hi all, I have the said rifle from the title. In fact this exact one from the video below. However the hop adjustment is a small Allan adjustable grub screw that you have to take the whole rifle apart to adjust. Great. Put it all back and fire some rounds. Loosens off. Has anyone got one of these or has had the pleasure working on these can suggest any help? I'm at the point of using medium loctite and sealing the screw in. Struggling to find any type of replacement hop system for this model of 416. Can't find threads on this, only other issues and the usual VFC is wank threads 😂 Just for reference on how the hop system works and a link to an old listing from patrol base to help https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/umarex-h-and-k-hk416-d-gbb-airsoft-rifle In order to adjust the HOP in the Umarex HK416 D, you will need to field strip the rifle, and remove its bolt carrier and charging handle. To do this, first, remove the magazine then rack the charging handle. Next, simply push the rear receiver pin through from the left side to the right, where it will remain captive in the receiver. Following this, the receiver will hinge apart around the front pin. The bolt carrier can then be removed, followed by the charging handle, which will need to be pulled rearwards then down, coming out through the same area through which the bolt carrier was removed. This will leave you with an empty upper, at the front of which you will note the silver chamber, at the bottom of which is the HOP adjustment grub screw. Using the provided Allen key, you can then adjust your HOP. To reassemble, place the charging handle back in first, with slightly less than half of the handle exposed through the rear of the receiver after that the bolt carrier goes in. Next, push the two parts fully back in as a unit, closing the receiver and pushing the locking pin back through once you have done so.
  2. Thank you for help, I will give that a go. I have purchased a new hop and nub so might as well put that in. I have respected tech guy so will go to them to do it. Unfortunately it's way past warranty as I got this in November 21. (Also my second one as the first was faulty). In all honesty I'm doing all this as I'm getting rid of it so I want it right for the next person.
  3. Been a long time posting. I still have a cycle issue, and wondering if anyone can help. Basically to begin with out the box (posted back in November 21 with issue and haven't used since until last night) few shots then misfire a few times, then fires fine continuing this issue off miss fires and fires on a mid cap mag. This is on single shot fire. On 3 round burst or full auto you don't notice it. Not to say it's not happening. Tried the banging the mid cap mags if it was that issue but continued. Cut to last night, hop adjusted (on tech guidance) and the problem disappeared managed to get about 3 mid caps emptied no dramas. Then it's started to occur again but you get about a couple misfires out of the 72round mid cap. (Slightly more on a mid cap). Am I having a hop rubber issue or the actual hop unit itself? Tech guy I know says potential hop rubber, but wanted to get some of your guys opinion as you've all had yours a while or know of anything similar.
  4. Hi dude only just seen your reply. Thank you. Have been struggling to find anywhere that does the slide release lever, and have seen that if it's not Umarex it won't work. Which I'm starting to believe after buying an after market one. However using that site you have recommended I back ordered and ordered some TM levers just incase as it's stupidly cheap there even with shipping. And I am actually tempted by the other link too.
  5. I will give that a go next time. But think I was overthinking and had mixed batch of BBs so when I didn't see the glowing green assumed it wasn't firing.
  6. Back again with an issue having worst luck with this sport 🤣. Anyone else having a misfire issue? Gamed tonight. Cqb so on single fire only using a mid cap mag only have one and a tracer. Chrono test first 3 shots (into the side) nothing came out then fired fine for chrono. Didn't think much of it. First round, went to fire pulled the trigger about 4 or 5 shots nothing coming out, then it fired a few rounds then another 4 or 5 of no rounds. Mag out, back in same again. Mag back out same procedure. Then firing rounds straight away at least 5-8 rounds then nothing for one shot then back to firing another 5-8ish rounds, a couple times allowing to fire more rounds but then a couple or so shots nothing coming out but then kicking back in. This continued through the night but gradually getting better allowing more and more shots to be fire and then the occasional dry fire. However, running burst fire absolutely fine and full auto absolutely fine when allowed to do so. Any ideas? This is the 2nd time I've used the mp5 since buying new (one returned) and just keep getting little hiccups. It's also my first TM and slowly loosing love for it...
  7. Ive given it to a tech and it's too far gone for a repair. Thank you for your help I shall check them out.
  8. Struggling to find anywhere that has them, or any site that ships them to the UK! Have you a link to where you got yours dude?
  9. Hi all, I am after a slide locking lever but having trouble finding anywhere in the UK that sells them, and across seas do not want to ship to the UK. Does anyone have one for sale (or a broken HK pistol for parts) know of anywhere that has them? I'm assuming USP, & 45 models will be the same to fit the 45c. Mine has worn causing no lock back. Fun times.
  10. Ahh my soldering is shit but I know some tech guys. I have ordered a 30C 7.4v for now see if it happens again. But as I say put the red line battery in this morning and fine haha. I'm only over worrying because one has already gone back. So just want to make sure it's all gooood. All learning so really appreciate the help to a "noob"
  11. Ahh ok. I do notice when I plug in it doesn't always line up and can be tough to take off and bends the pin slightly in the battery connector but then I get that with the M4 I have too. Well yeah as I say just wouldn't play ball with the battery after that first round despite reconnecting and connecting yesterday evening. But this morning fine 😂. With the first one that came it wouldnt accept the battery without the red line that's why I marked them thinking one battery is dying out. I was also told it might be my charger as well.. its a fun game this. I guess if its stopping my battery then least the mosfet is working. But yeah will have a look at 30C batteries. Thank you for you help and new information.
  12. Oh so the rating on my batteries is okay? It does say 20c though? But the short burst 40c? (I'm new to airsoft so this is new to me). The picture is of two separate batteries so would this just be one cell ? If the majority are running 30c plus I might just play it safe and get one so I don't have the issue I did yesterday. If yourself or anyone recommend a LiPo that they are using that would be great in their MP5. I am going to get, when it comes out the new battery they are producing for this and future models. Well I've been told there is a new one.
  13. So these are the two I have and used fully charged (but from the night before). The one with the red line cut out after 15 mins and the other worked well for rest of the night. But both work fine today. So with your info I'm guessing I need a better battery.
  14. Yeah there is one mag, first picture the long black thin one. It's non blow back
