it protects the knocker valve it also looks like it stops the mag going to far up the frame. I would sand down the break so it don't catch on the slide. it should still work. its not a part you can replace you would need a complete chassis. currently hard to come by a TM one in the current climate and expect an after market one to be expensive. I am curious on how it broke can only think the mag got rammed up with a fair bit of force.

I always carry multiple pistols and make sure I use them. You don't need a back up side arm but they are always fun.

It's not far of stock FPS wise depending on slide weight that will sap power. Is there an resistance when racking the slide? If the action in not smooth that could reduce power as well. The recoil spring will be robbing power you might want to try going back to standard springs. Negative Airsoft is of the opinion that a properly set up metal slide conversation will work fine on standard springs. However FPS isn't everything is range and accuracy good are you getting conistancy? On a good day a stock TM hi capa can hit a man sized target at 40m. If you are getting better than that you are good.

My arp9 is accurate to 50m I.e I'll get a hit if I aim centre mass. I can lob shot 70ish metres but I ain't hitting shit on purpose ( more suppressive fire) I highly recommend the arp9 with a drum mag (so much fun). I would say having back up is never a bad thing. Have you field striped the firehawk ever? You could take the barrel out clean it change hop rubber ( they do have limited life span) see if that improves range, accuracy might give a slight power improvement. Even if it helps I would still get another gun. Then you could start serious upgrades with out the risk of being with out a gun

There are KWA/KSC M11a1 and there is a CO2 GBB and NBB but no idea in manufacturer of them.

i love the m9 but the safety/decocker is a weak point. wont stop the gun working but eventually one of the levers will stop working. i would highly recomend the hk45 or the FNX as the best TM performers. personal preference HK45 purely on aesthetics

it's a bit twangy but nothing horrible. at three years old a service with a reshim won't hurt.

because people run them on green or propane which they are not designed to use. cheap cast monkey metal is more fragile than a good quality plastic. the AA is a monkey metal clone of a gun designed to be made of plastic. in the UK metal pistol will always perform worse than a plastic gun. A TM is a better built gun wich will give better performance on a lower powered gas than any metal clone running on propane.

I Think that the hera is a rebranded ICS. if it is those to grubs screws in the last pic hold the barrel in place and some where like fire support has replacement ICS barrels you just need to know the right length.
