Yup, although for me they are taking the skill element out of the equation. Back then, we used to overcome the opponent with skills, whether it was about camouflage, or picking the right moment to fire or going for a giga flanking manoeuvre. Now though, with all the "pay to win" plug and play r-hopped barrels, people are more inclined to sit behind the same tree for 20 minutes plinking at each other from hyperbolic distances, effectively making games more static.

Mhm.. mine are both gen 1s but I think I'll buy two cowcow sets soon (I'm ordering stuff for my teammate too). Also TTI's new charging handles with external selector seem to be available. This pistol is turning into a money pit though

The day didn't start too well, with me deciding not to carry the aap smg and a teammate tripping and bashing his side torso quite hard on an exposed root on the 2nd game. Nothing serious but he got us worried for at least 30 seconds. Games went relatively well despite the heat and humidity being annoying, didn't play a single defense which is unusual for me (I try to play at least 70/30 just to have some variety).

It's a one piece cylinder, it's supposedly stronger than the usual brass one you find on 01s and 02s, but there have been reports of bad machining (well it's Ares after all and being a single piece I imagine it's not too easy to manufacture) with sharp edges and burrs on the inner wall.

That mount reminds me of a fucking giraffe. But anyway, iron sights are the best thing ever for Airsoft. Can't stress that enough. Carryhandles especially as they also give something to....well....carry the gun and they look good

Yeah it's literally the only one I have available, I might shorten it down by one section as it's purely aesthetic. I'm not sold on the T1 though.. This one only has one skirmish under its belt, I might bring it this Sunday if I decide to play sniper, although given the stupid range and consistency it has, I might as well use it as a DMR-ish primary. The last Action Army Black Mamba upper available (at a decent price) in Europe. It came with a 3d printed charging handle which I never asked for, but eh. Also bought a 70° MR-Hop for the T-11 to try out

Airsoftworld OR some HK shop. There is fuck all available in Europe for some reason. Whatever you want, the stock barrel is good out of the box, I don't see the point of swapping it.

Correct, the screws self thread into the upper's plastic. It's not a solution I like because the chances of wrecking the whole upper are high should you bash the optic onto something, but from what I see most people don't mind. Btw just saw your post on the FB group

Had a blast today but we all left earlier (around 11 AM) because the heat is unsustainable now. I parked my car in the shadow and the when we got back it said 35°! Way too fucking much for me. Nonetheless we managed to play a fair bit of games, we got a couple of new members and overall the day went smoothly. On the technical side, I took the 933 which performed flawlessly and the aap, unfortunately this one decided to die on its first 3 shots, the hop wasn't doing anything other than pissing bbs at 5 metres (turns out it still doesn't like MR-Hops even with a TDC installed) so I threw it in my backpack and kept playing. Shame as I would have liked to test the TDC potential. I am forcing myself to drink regularly, it's something I don't usually do but staying hydrated is key on my field, I ended up drinking 4 litres of water without even realising it until I got back to the car, luckily there's a bar/restaurant thingy on the way back. While we were at said bar we started talking about random stuff, at some point one guy approaches us asking what club we were part of, when we told him he started spouting insults for no reason (he's a member of the cheater club we used to play with a couple of years ago). Okay, I guess

I fully understand why the site owner pulled that stunt, but I don't agree with him and genuinely think it was a shit move to piss off a bunch of locals. After all locals are the major source of income for sites so they should be treated almost like kings. If we were to become greedy fucks, I think I'd quit playing Airsoft for good (I manage the finances of my club btw).
