  1. Yeah, welcome Roberto. Hope you like it here. (Has its ups and downs) Sounds like you have the right idea regarding the 'toys' but it should be possible to bring them if they conform to the UK power level of 1.3 Joules As HomelessSnail said, bringing your gear shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't have any real weapon accessories. Might have to look into it a bit more if you do.
  2. Yeah, looks nasty. Hope you recover soon. My right ankle is quite weak after spraining it badly a couple of times. Good old army surplus for me. Blisters and all 🙄
  3. I can believe there'd be a slight difference for HPA but would be good to have a video comparing with and without. Yeah, having an inner barrel will have more effect on the BB but no effect on sound 😉
  4. From the videos I've seen, airsoft silencers/suppressors don't do anything except look the part. Real weapons have high velocity gas to get rid of but airsoft vented gas makes no noise as it exits anyway.
  5. Yeah, you don't need one but can add one later on. Note that the in-line MOSFETS don't protect the trigger contacts but will protect the battery from being drained too far
  6. Oh yes, I was going to say that too. Less strain on motor and gears. Win win (Cutting down the spring would be the next option. Cheaper but not as easy)
  7. Simple MOSFETS prevent arcing on the trigger contacts which will make them last longer. You can also get programable units to control fire rate and various bursts. I'd advise a MOSFET for 11.1v but for 7.4v LiPos you don't need to use one to protect the trigger contacts as there is minimal arcing and it would take a long time to get any damage to the contacts.
  8. Changing the spring would be easiest.
  9. Basically at that power it becomes an illegal firearm. Certainly won't be able to use in a game.
  10. I can imagine gangs will relish the idea of having a deadly weapon they can dump onto a kid after killing a rival. It gives way more work for the police who have to check every Lego or Nerf gun they come across.
  11. I've often switched to GBB pistol in woodland games while defending a position/building. Taking out approaching enemy while popping out of cover is much easier with a pistol.
  12. You can check UKARA details by calling FireSupport on 01733 247171 and asking if UKARA number matches name and address given by buyer.

Even in CQB I'd bet an AEP in an draw with a gas pistol would lose the majority of times.

There are certain pistols that work quite well in winter. As mentioned the MK23 is highly regarded. Keeping mags warm is the key. Red/Black gas can provide enough power for most cold days. There are a few downsides to Co2 power. 1. More expensive than green gas. 2. Much higher pressures so failures can be more catastrophic. 3. Magazine leaks can be very expensive to fix because when testing if a valve is fixed you will waste an entire gas bulb if it still leaks. 4. Harder to manage usage. You can't top-up when you want. You have to empty the gas bulb before replacing so you might run out in the middle of a game.
  15. Something like a Scorpion Vz61 or Mac10 AEP might be a better compromise though more expensive and still not as good as an AEG. I agree with the consensus that gas pistols are more effective and certainly more fun to use. If you want something for CQB you can't go wrong with the good'ol MP5 AEG 😎

Not a chance in hell 😄
  17. Following the thread title: The WE Browning Hi-Power MK3 Its BAD but I love it anyway because...... its a Hi-Power MK3 😄 (To avoid breaking the striker as so many have, the slide has to be racked before inserting the mag)
  18. I use silicone grease on the slide and spring guide. A small amount of silicone oil on all moving parts. Mags do need green gas but not pure propane. (Check them every month or so as they may lose gas slowly)

  20. Well done dodging that one 👍 Defo ban hammer time
  21. Can't guarantee but I have put description 'sports equipment' Put the recipient UKARA number on the package. Haven't had any problems.
  22. I have the same one. Good rifle 👍 You can post using ParcelForce48
  23. This looks good but get a small bit to test first. Might be worth using this behind the main screen to catch any potential shards for ultimate protection.
