  1. They have a bad reputation because they sell a lot of really cheap plastic rubbish but if you know what you're buying and read all the details to make sure its the right thing then its a safe bet. Not sure if they still do it but when you make an account leave the item in your purchase basket for 24hrs and you may get a 7% discount code. EDIT: Doh, late reply 🙄😏
  2. I'm happy with my SA-E03 👍 All metal and well put together. Shoots quite well in my opinion.
  3. Welcome back mate 👍 Yeah, I expect some things have changed and non-hit takers haven't 😉 Would be interesting to hear both of your thoughts at some point.
  4. https://extremeairsoft.co.uk/shop/assault-rifles/electric-aeg-rifles/m4/specna-arms-rra-sa-e07-edge-black-aeg-rifle-with-gate-mosfet/ Might not be best price of course You'll have to contact them to make sure its not the v2 Might be worth checking out: https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/specna-arm-s-sa-e07-edge-series-m4_i18991
  5. Oh, that's a bit naughty of them. Shops do reduce prices when they want to get rid of the last stocks.
  6. Welcome back. That's quite a break. Some things will have changed and others not. I would guess that RIF's are cheaper and better performing than they used to be.
  7. Yes, stock in general is very low at the moment.
  8. Yep, as above. Several places I'm happy to purchase from. I'll add to the list with BespokeAirsoft. I've even purchased a few things including a rif from BBGuns4Less
  9. That's a nice gun but its £300 new: https://www.bespokeairsoft.co.uk/lonex-20-baw-qscg-aeg-with-recoil-system-l4-baw-spr-g-green Being two-tone will reduce price further
  10. Thanks guys. I know I can't legally use em but my thinking is that by reducing the output with a crappy antenna there's less chance of drawing attention to their use. Well, the V-Strom Freq are the same as the Analogue 12.5kHz channel spacing so I guess I'll stick to those 😉 I can understand why you might want some channels open so you can communicate with others on side while also being able to keep to only squad level on others. Would have to be organised beforehand of course. I don't expect to rely on radios at all but I couldn't resist £17 for both 😏
  11. Hiall, Just got a couple of 888s and cable to reprogram. (I know they're a bit over powered but I'll be using the stubby antenna which will reduce the output and the site I play at has a commercial license anyway) I'm a bit confused (Yes, easily done) about the correct PMR frequencies to use. I found this: https://icomuk.co.uk/Changes-to-digital-PMR446-Frequency-Bands-in-2018/3996/135/ Do I use the Digital or Analogue spacing? Second question is about the squelch settings. Is there a standard for QT/DQT Decode/Encode settings for each channel? Cheers for any info (Just tested and they do have Beat Shift 😁)
  12. I recently got an ICS/ASG XAE BLE from the classifieds. Its actually not that bad. Certainly not up to TM standards of course.
  13. I don't have any experience with the v2 Share your knowledge...
  14. Yep, all the models in the EDGE range have the same specs. (Longer barrels may make a small difference) (I have the E03 and very happy with it)
  15. 😃 No worries. If you have a question that you can't find an answer to then go ahead and ask away
  16. Nice one 👍 Not for me though Hope you have a good first time 😉
  17. Welcome. Yes, fogging its probably the airsofters main difficulty (apart from an empty bank account) Have a search and read on the forum because this subject has come up A LOT 😉
  18. If you like the WE M9 then go for it. As I said, I have one and it performs perfectly well for the range you'd expect to use a pistol. Yes, the TM's are the best performers but most other pistols work well enough to have fun with.
  19. Thanks for that. I'd only ever heard of it as a theoretical possibility. Yes, certainly a rare situation but obviously it can still happen. That's why I wouldn't use mesh unless I had the glasses underneath. The glasses do still fog under extreme conditions BUT because there's plenty of airflow around them they clear quickly. (I did also put CatCrap on the glasses)
  20. They help to seal the hop unit to the nozzle. The ring is a spacer to ensure the hop and inner barrel are centred. The spring puts pressure on the hop to push it towards the nozzle so it keeps a good seal.
  21. No they won't break through. A BB shattering is a possibility but I've never seen or heard of it actually happening. Because we wear glasses underneath I don't think its a danger. Its advisable to keep the glasses from being in direct contact with the mesh because the impact could transfer into the glasses and break them. A bit of foam on the inside of the mesh goggles where the bridge of the glasses sit.
  22. I use this type. Can fit my glasses inside. The glasses can still fog but less of a problem because there is more airflow
  23. Definitely looks different to me too 🤔 Could be another of these "What colour do you see?" viral internet images. 😆
