  1. Once you tag along with various peeps you're sure to find a bunch you get along with.
  2. It can probably take an 11.1 but 7.4 will be kinder to the internals and make them last longer.

It may be obvious but just to be absolutely sure and ultra clear... The battery must always be fitted with the female end (Right one in the pic) That way there is less chance of the pins being shorted.
  4. Someone must have tried it... It will probably work for a short time before something burns out or grinds up. Most likely not worth the effort. Oh yes, I forgot about their tiny cylinder volume. Not much you can do to improve that. For pistols gas is king.
  5. Welcome Ollie, Are you into skirmishing or milsim? Sorry to hear about your two mates. (They're going to miss it for sure) You don't need a team for skirmishing and you'll probably meet regulars if you go to the same site a few times.
  6. Welcome. I hope airsoft isn't drying up over there 🤨 I had a CYMA Glock AEP a few years ago so my info is limited and may be out of date. 1 Mine didn't have a MOSFET but just got a higher mAh battery. Tight bore and better Hop would be a safe bet. 2 AEP and quick trigger response will never go together. Just not enough juice to kick the motor around.

No, its normal Deans, also known as T-plugs, T-connectors Usually come in red
  8. A pistol is not necessary to start out with. Perhaps concentrate on the eye protection and boots which are much more important. Also consider if you need some kind of webbing or vest to carry mags etc.
  9. Rich, it sounds like you'll be happiest with the NGRS as Dave said. Its a big outlay but it should keep you happy for a long time and save you from messing around with others to get them shooting well.
  10. Welcome AirsoftRich, Do a few searches on the forum about first gun. This question has come up a few times. CYMA, JG, G&G, Specna Arms do have some models that perform quite well out of the box and can be improved if you get into tinkering. It depends how much you want to spend up front and what your expectations are.
  11. I just saw this one: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/g-and-g-armament-gc16-intermediate-series-predator That's already more expensive than the Specna
  12. Yep, always best if you can handle them first 👍
  13. Both are good but I prefer the metal body of the Specna
  14. I'd chose the Specna Only an idiot would buy that 😆
  15. Yep, as said, the TM MWS is the go-to for best GBBR M4 platform and look at GHK for AKs.
  16. Welcome. I think that means you can add the BAW system. I have one and its amazing! I don't know where you can get it separately but it goes in the stock tube. The motor should be quite a good one as standard but you can always upgrade to something better. Are you running it on 7.4v LiPo? For the heavy recoil guns I would suggest 11.1v LiPo
  17. Thanks for that but its not really much use unless you specify the site. Its only your opinion so you don't have to be worried about offending anyone.
  18. Welcome SilverBugleSon. Hmm, not heard of a place that does Well bits. Maybe worth seeing if WE or TM parts might be compatible. Its worth £75 new so up to you how much you want to throw at it.
  19. Yeah, its actually illegal for them to have sold it to you in that state.
  20. Yep, as said, MK5 for throwing in woodland (only things you're allowed to throw anyway) I use a timed Dynatex for dropping in windows of structures and pick it up straight after it goes off.
  21. Wrong place buddy Needs to go here: https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/category/17-guns-wanted/
