Asomodai got a reaction from Tackle in How old is to old
One old gent I have played with is in his late 60's.
If they start affecting other peoples game/become a proven insurance liability to the site then they should probably stop. Otherwise it's no ones business.

Asomodai got a reaction from AirSniper in Just spend the last couple of days...
I am actually self isolating for the next 10 days as I head off to Cape Verde for some 27 degree sunshine on the 23rd. I'll be damned if I get sick for it.
I have been feeling generally low and meh for the past week. But probably to do with the travel vaccinations I had in one hit.
Two weeks after we come back we go to Paris, going Army Surplus hunting (Don't tell the wife I fully intend to come back with three full sets of uniform, F2 Dageut, F1 Olive and F2 CCE).
Hope you feel better bud.

Asomodai got a reaction from Druid799 in The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Tiger111hk.
It will only fit the PPS Bizon or E&L AK though. It's a 5mm pin.
I already have a top folder on my PPS Bizon. Just wanted a spare.

Asomodai got a reaction from Shamal in What are these thingies called and where can I get another?
They are called retainer clips. You'll need to measure the shaft that it connects to though to get the right size

Asomodai got a reaction from Tackle in Bush Valley Airsoft (Kent) Closed down.
Looks like they never re-opened after the second COVID lockdown. I believe they lost a family member who spear-headed the whole venture.
A real shame as the owned the land and were passionate about it.

Asomodai got a reaction from TheFull9 in TM Hi Capa 5.1 or 4.3 vs Army Armaments R5/600s
Backup and you don't want to upgrade?
TM all the way, they are reliable and the "Loss" of a metal slide means it will work in all but the lowest temperatures the UK has to offer.
The main issues with the AA stuff is the crap rubber seals they use in the pistol itself and especially the mags, a few people I know have replaced all the rubber stuff to prevent gassing out. Take the cost of those upgrades and you might as well of got a TM. (It will still perform poorer due to the metal slide and poorer tolerances in manufacture.)
Despite owning lots of odd cheaper rifles (because there are no expensive versions of them), I believe in buy once, buy right.
The AA might be fine for an upgrade platform, but that's not what you are looking for.

This is a great one.
Selling a bundle of guns for £400, the vast majority of which don't function.

Asomodai got a reaction from RostokMcSpoons in TM Hi Capa 5.1 or 4.3 vs Army Armaments R5/600s
I have 5 TM pistols. I use green gas, not even close to a broken slide. It happens sometimes if people upgrade the gas bearing internals for more FPS, but again, you are not upgrading anything.

Something like this would be ideal Hawke Picatinny To Picatinny 0.5" / 13mm Riser - 5" / 127mm (22411) - Pull The Trigger
