I went through a phase of making various hobo cookers for meths, as well as pine cone cookers from big tins of Chappie.
Mrs TPH has one of those ultralight titanium burners nowadays. Less than a tenner and less hassle but still heavier and you have to carry the gas.
There's no perfect answe for all situations. Come the apocalypse I'll be grateful for that pinecone one...
Interesting stuff. I have some Swedish cold weather kit for winter camping at games. Warm but extremely bulky and stiff as it's canvas faced.
This looks much more modern and user friendly.
I once went for a walk in those East German padded winter trousers and jacket on a bitterly cold day. I got about half a mile from home and nearly passed out. I ended up taking the lot off and walking back with steam coming off me. Glad I live in the country tbh. A trouser-less stroll through town might have ended badly...
Is the jacket practical for UK temperatures? I'm thinking of a coat for winter fishing rather than airsoft. For running around it's tshirt all year, albeit under a poncho in the very worst weather.
If you want a back up then they'll all do the job. The MK23 has a very long trigger pull though I seem to recall from using the lad's.
What do you want to use it for? CQB primary, back-up in woodland, themed game etc etc.
Looking at their 'About Us' section, they accept PayPal. You can check their ISO registration if you want more reassurance but I would think that you're fine.
Perhaps this tech uses crystals? For all we know, he could have put serious time in raising the rifs vibrations.
Does the thing shoot like its chakras are balanced?
I had a look ar some Magnums a couple of months ago. Horrible cheap wafer thin leather. The screws in our local nick all used to wear them for years, but I notice that they wear a variety of brands now.
Like you I've funny shaped feet, and find that the Lowa fit well but only if you get the right width fitting. Same for Haix.
It was just the one item, an arguably overpriced stock. He's got good feedback on ebay. I'd go for the torch.
Just a reminder really that it's a small (airsoft) world!
I use Green in the summer and Red in the winter.
I didn't know know better when I first bought my pistol. Every one else used Green so I did too.
The Red is needed to operate the thing in cold weather. For the amount of use it gets (next to none) I'm not worrying.
Two Russian soldiers are whacking a bomb with a hammer.
'You idiots,' shouts an NCO as he spots them, 'what if that goes off?'
'It's OK,' they reply, 'we've got another one.'
