It's pretty, though I think totally impractical if not in a proper desert even just from the point it'll get covered in stains super easy.  Also weirdly common compared to some stuff which is surprising.

Late 90s USMC experimental trial pattern called Urban MOUT (sometimes T-Patt or T-Block) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Urban_Warrior

Was the Urban MOUT the one on eBay recently?!

Yes, the Sand looks like it will be 'dry weather only' tbh!

Sorry chargers are not a valid reason, I've been using one of these since switching to lipos 7 or so years ago and it's worked perfectly:

    https://www.componentshop.co.uk/800ma-charger-for-2s-or-3s-7-4-11-1v-battery-packs-complete-with-mains-power-supply.html

Might not have a digital display but it charges, balances at the same time, cannot over-charge etc etc - cheap, reliable, zero learning required just straight plug and play and fool proof.

I too thought Lipos were over complicated and was worried about the charging. Made the leap with this charger in 2015 and not looked back since and feel a Berk for not doing it years earlier. This charger is literally plug in and play. The only thing I worry about with Lipos now is overusing them, so I swap out and replace, usually at lunchtime.

    Used GR25 for £420

    or brand new for £310

Im not sure a handful of midcaps and unbranded scope really boost that value :P

TBF, it is out of stock on your link - and may be elsewhere too.

I know some people who would pay a bit more for an out of stock gun.

I really regret not grabbing an A&K SR25K when Taiwan gun were practically giving them away for £150 last year.

  4. Been in touch with a guy at a barracks-town-address who was clearing out his kit:

Crye medium GP SPS pouch in MC for £25

BFG large pouch in MC for £20

Crye Back Panel 2.0 in MC for £100.

The retailer is fine, I've used them before to get a G17 metal slide with trades on.

I'll let you know about the rif. 👍

Retailer is legit. They do WE stuff for crazy cheap money at times.

  5. So, perusing Action Hobbies' site usually leads to me loosening the purse strings and last week was no exception.

The owner is starting to sell second hand Rifs and accessories at reasonable prices and I grabbed a KWA MP7A1 plus suppressor and five mags for £165 posted.

It arrived quickly, had been serviced and very well packed. The owner has phoned me twice since to follow up on a missing hop tool and I have been very impressed by the customer service received so far.

The 'boneyard' section of their website is well worth a butcher's - he has told me that new additions are being added and it is an often overlooked approach in the UK Airsoft retail market.

Would recommend and will shop there again.
