  1. Been very naughty, but hey, you're only young once:

    Plat-a-Tac dump pouch in Khaki

OPS Multicam chest rig from the Huey's sale.

Condor Multicam double 7.62mm pouches for said rig.

Blackhawk Serpa Sig P226 holster in Coyote Brown.

Tokyo Marui Sig P226 E2 for said holster.

    Tokyo Marui M9 magazine.

    Tokyo Marui Detonics magazine.

TAD Gear Cargo Pants in Tan.

    Black Sharpie pen.

  2. If I had £350 to spend on a sniper rifle, and I was new, I'd do this:

    - Look on Crawley Surplus' or Action Hobbies website (other retailers are available). Identify the TM VSR compatible ASG/FN Sniper rifles on there for about £99-£150. If you like the look of them, buy one. Then you have a functional, 400+FPS rifle that can be upgraded later on if you like the game play style.

    - Use your remaining £200 or so to buy a G&G AEG (perhaps one that could have a scope/bipod added to give you a DMR-esque AEG) so you can swap and change during a game day if sniping becomes a little dry/dour.

Well, that is what I'd do. Zero One have a nice looking GBB AIM SVD on their site for £210 which has more than tempted me.

  3. If you want something that is going to work well every time you take it out of the box, in most weathers and should last if looked after, aim to budget £150 for a Tokyo Marui gas blowback pistol and gas/ammo (0.2g upwards).

You can't go wrong, and it is just then a choice of which model to choose.

  4. Was looking for a new pressure switch for an old Star D-LAP laser, and found this on Redwolf -

So ordered it. Plus a couple of other bits from their decent looking sale.

Same price for said part from Fire Support -

So...bargain! Even inc. the $11 airmail fee.

  5. Brilliant, only on a forum would you hear that TMs are overrated.

I have no doubt that other brands are very good.

But if you want something that is more expensive than an entry G&G but less expensive than a Real Sword, that should be reliable if left stock, then TM is that brand. Granted, not sure how good the EBBs are (fired a SCAR H last Sunday and was hugely impressed) in the long run, but I would always advise TMs.

    Horses for courses though.

  6. Essentials

    - (Camo or block 'military colours' if possible) Gloves, hat, scarf/scrim/shemagh/snood.

    - Decent eye protection.

    - Decent footwear.

    - Warm socks/t-shirt.

After that, and if you've enjoyed it, aim to buy Tokyo Marui guns to start off with, as they are reliable and if left alone, should allow you to avoid the 'buy cheap, buy twice' adage. Then look at a vest/chest rig/webbing to slug stuff around in, a sling, a holster, some camouflage or tactical gear...a gun bag...ammunition...gas...

    ...once you've got the bug...

  7. Hi,

Am considering selling my Bushnell HOLOsight; it uses 2 x AA batteries and functions just like an EOtech HOLOsight - but without the NV capability - and lacks the outer shroud.

This sight functions brilliantly, is undamaged and fits perfectly onto RIS uppers. I have used it on a Breacher, M16, Galil...

Would like a good ball-park valuation please.

    Thanks.
