  1. Cheapo trick - find an old AOL CD (yes, it must be AOL) and tie it with a bit of string to dangle off something close to the pond, the moving reflections will scare animals off.
  2. As with all VFC GBB's you need to skip the first couple of batches to allow them to work out the kinks, or someone to come up with a hack. But apparently, full steel and full travel. So if it works, I can see it dethroning the TM AK as the go to.
  3. TM MP5A4 for £440 in airsoft direct... very very tempting but i kinda need to use the a5 and sd6 that have both been sat since i got them
  4. Off topic: There's a house on right move thats around the £5m mark in the Cotswolds (which i view every Tuesday and Friday, which are the same days as the euromillions, but by no way is that related). You would think for something that expensive you would get a professional in, who can dress the house. No, ok, a decent consumer camera and a tripod? No, how about at least holding your phone level to take some pictures specifically for the listing? Ok, you're going with whatever you have on your phone at the time. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/135627299#/?channel=RES_BUY
  5. Last one from me today as I actually need to go do some work rather than dicking around on the internet. Not the price (as its for trades) but more the title of High Spec MWS https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/hi-spec-mws-to-trade_i54129 The high spec consists on an NPAS, hop rubber and a charging handle...
  6. CYMA full stocks fit like a glove iirc
  7. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/spring-powered_2/tm-m40a5-bolt-action_i54127 About the same price rrp, and about 2.5 times as much as it should be used
  8. I've always compared airsoft R&D to cars. People always say "I would love a v8, with a manual gear box, RWD and being built by a British manufacturer." Then a company goes out and drops millions on R&D and makes one, and sells a grand total of 17. Meanwhile all the people who said they wanted one goes out and buys a VW Golf. Everyone says they want a tavor, or a some weird 80's gun used by JCVD in a movie that was only shown on Air Canada flights. But when DE released the Noveske which is another m4 in a fancy frock- people climbed over themselves to get one.
  9. Possibly used a "non airsoft" mini tamiya battery with the traditional positive/negative wiring (why the frick airsoft has reverse polarity mini tamiya is beyond me) He would need to go to the shop he bought it off, they would need to go to the distributor who will need to go back to TM, once its been inspected, at his cost. Possibly the distributor will keep it as a spare part gun for anything else that goes funky on another gun out the box but its down to them. Based on your description, unless he bought the battery with the gun, it is unlikely to be a warranty claim. I say this as my mp5 cooked itself out the box, but i bought 2 batteries with the gun and used those one specifically with the gun to inspect it, so it could be a friday afternoon lemon. Had to fight with the retailer for about a week to get a replacement. Could he buy a second hand one to use or salvage, and keep the broken one until an aftermarket fet is available or a work around is created.
  10. Competition helps. VFC, GHK and WE were pretty much the only GBBR's in modern form for a good while. They could dictate what was good enough to get by. Then TM comes along and plants it's flag in the ground, and became the yard stick. Other companies seeing what happened with the release of the VSR10 and Hi capa (i.e. pretty much making every other design in that product space obsolete overnight) have to step up. VFC come out with the mk3 versions of GBBRs as well as the m249 and vector, and know that they can't do their usual thing of let things slide for a few production batches and fix it later. GHK come out with a new glock but also shit the bed on the ARs. WE are doing things, not all great, but still things. Meanwhile TM are happy to make a basic but effective GBBR and re-release it in a different colour every 9 months and print money in the process, knowing that the aftermarket parts cover for any minor flaws they have.
  11. If its easy date points (probably not the best choice of wording) around Tokyo https://www.timeout.com/tokyo/attractions/yomiuri-land-jewellumination
  12. I think there is a market now for more "upmarket" guns - look at the tm mk46, the GBLS, Silverback HTI's, VFC m249 and so on. It just needs a company to bite the bullet and make something with a thin margin, or eye watering price tag. I suppose it's like when people say "I want a 2 seater, v6, manual, RWD, British made car". Then someone decides to, spunks millions in manufacturing. And then sells about 14 of them, whilst everyone who piped up goes and buys a Golf.
  13. Hope it doesn't suck balls, and is under 4 figures - which i doubt as the 2013 models were super expensive.
  14. If it isn't satire - i would rather shit in both my hands, and then clap.
  15. Lets put it another way - would people watch his videos and defend him if he got into rugby purely to try and high tackle people? Or football if his aim was to two-foot lunge everyone in sunday league (albeit this happens anyway)? Would people still want to play in a league that allowed this to carry on?
  16. Im sure you're not, but remember mini tamiya is reverse polarity for airsoft.
  17. When you agree to try and sell your gear, but have no intention of it? https://prefired.co.uk/ads/airsoft-bundle-complete-collection/
  18. Question for xmas: can my wife use my ukara?
  19. JK army have said street date of early December in HK. Must’ve been working on this a while as KWA took the ball and went home with all the blueprints for the internals. Despite it not being their ball.
  20. Was up for $399 before it was removed and pre-orders cancelled. Rumours are going around that it will be available to Pre-order in November, as Krytac's showcase is around that time, and being held at Evike.
  21. As the saying goes; Two is One, and One is None.
  22. I've been out twice this year i think. If it were a football club, this would count as a rebuild year i think. Sorting out kit, selling some things, buying some things. But i do want to try and get a cqb game in pre-xmas.
