    VFC M249 Thread

Silly question as I can't get to mine at the mo - is it the port door or the ejection cover that is needed?
  2. No one who actually wants one that badly should/will avoid this like the plague. There's a manufacturing defect that needs to go back to the retailer, so good luck with a 2nd hand one.
  3. I wonder if whoever thought of this actually said it out-loud first.
  4. A spreadsheet of your competition wins and guns coming back from repair you say?

    VFC M249 Thread

So it went from me scrolling this thread 2 days ago, to finding one on discord, to having it turn up next week. You lot are a bad influence... My questions: - Out of the box mods - seems like the mag catch is a must do? - Is the stock hop set up ok? Did people do the 3d printed spring thingy? - What spares are recommended to keep on hand - nozzles like most gbbs? Does it need an NPAS for the green gas mags? - What are people using to carry the box mags?
  6. Has anyone messaged to get a list as I am quite intrigued
  7. Another "I've broken it, buts it's an easy fix. No, I won't fix it. Thats £450 please" https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/tm-mws-gbbr-cqb-plus-extras_i62522
  8. I believe this is it - if anyone kicks up a stink, you fold the new made up company and your main business is in the clear (in theory). However there only seems to be about 4 actual manufactures these days, with everything else is just a rebranding. Back in my day, we used to have to mine our airsoft out of the airsoft pits. And whats the deal with all these speedsofters....
  9. From the SEAL Team show - i know its a TV show, but the kit man on it is very very good and ex-services Then there's this photo that got internet gun nerds all horny from the teams switching from 416's to N4's
  10. Yep - If you're going to play dressup for £150, surely you would just buy a real one for 225. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256536224115?itmmeta=01J0JN06DWQBEMXFH8H7WYCAPY&hash=item3bbac02173:g:Qk4AAOSwDAhmYijn
  11. Wow... what a bunch of nerds. Now if you excuse me, i have to research what sling is now the Gucci thing and spend $400 on it.
  12. Hepatitis... i mean Hephaestus custom build.
  13. It's a slow monday morning, so i did a bit of man maths on this - Base TM hi capa - £150 - Red Dot - £115 - Slide kit - £370 plus import and customs so lets say £450 - Grips - Found in the UK for £280 (that's a more WTF moment) - Mount - £42 plus import for lets round up to £50 External big ticket items come to £965 ish. So then you add all the little things and internals and labour and warranty and mark up, £1500 doesn't seem too bad on reflection. However, if you're in the market for a £1500 airsoft target pistol, you're an elite level shooter and know what you want and will decide your own parts list... or I have some magic beans here for sale.
  14. I still have a repro of these from circa 2002 upstairs. I think I paid a whole £30 for it back then from Ebay.
  15. I'm sure all 19 people who vote for the Green party appreciate your enthusiasm
  16. EBB pistols have come on a bit by the looks of things. Does look and sound rather snappy.
  17. I was boot selling for both days for this ( i was the guy with the RE2 lightning hawk for sale) Lots of pink arms and faces on saturday. Lots and lots of people. Sunday was noticeably quieter (considering both days were sold out player wise) - i suspect the ever changing but always pessimistic weather forecast had something to do with that. In the end, apart from a bit of a breeze and the odd spitting shower, it wasn't too bad at all. But myself and a few of the suppliers and boot sellers packed up around the end of lunch. It's a long weekend with early starts for most.
  18. Depends if you throw it off a cliff whilst it's firing.
  19. Plan was to do a modernised AK build. so got an Arron Smith 2.1 rail but something went wrong along the way…
  20. I wonder how many people bought the golden eagle gbbr's thinking that they are the same as the double eagle
  21. Another vote for an exfil helmet. I took the harness out and replaced with pads. Works great and can even use peltors underneath. And I have a Stewie Griffin head
  22. I know the mk23 isn’t to everyone’s taste, but still a bit harsh

  23. Yeah, you need to be quite handy with a dremel to get them to sit properly (reference half way down the page) https://www.proactstore.com/en/products/z-parts-4850-forward-rail-m4-series
  24. To be slightly fair, those ergo rails do add a bit of value to the package. One of those things that just as expensive for a replica than a real one.
