  1. I was boot selling for both days for this ( i was the guy with the RE2 lightning hawk for sale) Lots of pink arms and faces on saturday. Lots and lots of people. Sunday was noticeably quieter (considering both days were sold out player wise) - i suspect the ever changing but always pessimistic weather forecast had something to do with that. In the end, apart from a bit of a breeze and the odd spitting shower, it wasn't too bad at all. But myself and a few of the suppliers and boot sellers packed up around the end of lunch. It's a long weekend with early starts for most.
  2. Depends if you throw it off a cliff whilst it's firing.
  3. Plan was to do a modernised AK build. so got an Arron Smith 2.1 rail but something went wrong along the way…
  4. I wonder how many people bought the golden eagle gbbr's thinking that they are the same as the double eagle
  5. Another vote for an exfil helmet. I took the harness out and replaced with pads. Works great and can even use peltors underneath. And I have a Stewie Griffin head
  6. I know the mk23 isn’t to everyone’s taste, but still a bit harsh

  7. Yeah, you need to be quite handy with a dremel to get them to sit properly (reference half way down the page) https://www.proactstore.com/en/products/z-parts-4850-forward-rail-m4-series
  8. To be slightly fair, those ergo rails do add a bit of value to the package. One of those things that just as expensive for a replica than a real one.
  9. https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/30945-airsoft-kit I think i'd struggle to spend that much on that kit new from a shop
  10. Wasn't there a survey a few years ago for TM, and a HP was one of the options?
  11. Turning up tomorrow. Airsoft World is closed on a Monday, so once i have it in hand, i'll cancel the other order
  12. I tried to contact Airsoft Direct like 6 times to find out if that price was a deposit or full price on the LR pistol. Now to re-order and cancel my Airsoft World one.
  13. Now hold up a second... verified Maidens?
  14. Was Skirmish at Wycombe the small one where a good sniper rifle could ping one side of the map to the other - or was that the Tring site?
  15. Wonder if the DE MWS would fit it, rather than have to have a full fat TM.
  16. Mounted version as well now https://www.taiwangun.com/machine-gun-aeg/we23-h-rotary-minigun-style-replica-well
  17. I actually found Wolf fairly well priced. I've been "going" there almost 20 years - and every time the staff have been useful
  18. "Take cover behind the tank" "Ackshullay, it's not a tank, it's a self propelled artillery - a tank has" *gets shot*
  19. IMO safety trumps disability. You can be accommodating as possible but sometimes places have to say no. Im 17.5 stone, and too heavy to do skydiving. But I’m not going to kick up a fuss and then go splat into a puddle. If you’ve got no arms, you can’t race in F1 as you can’t get out the car if it catches on fire. Similarly, if this person was having an episode or not able to control what they were doing (widespread generalisation) that put other players at risk - if that’s game rules like ignoring MEDs or more real life and getting physical with other players - then for the safety of other people then they should be banned. Playing the disabled card could just be a dick mood. Same way Tyson Fury and Joe Marler always act like dicks then go “muh mental health”
  20. Viper VX sling for about £15. Good balance of cheap enough, but functional (slingster clone) and made well enough not worrying if the clips will fall off every time the day ends in Y
  21. One thing i've learnt with snipers (in general) is that the size of a meter differs depending if they're working out the MED or if they're trying to sell it
  22. There;s RIFTS annual event coming up in Abingdon in Oxfordshire - which is commutable
  23. I can smell this comment
  24. Indeed. Visiting repmart and echigoya next week to grab half a dozen akx mags (for anticipation of actually getting an AK at a later date) Osaka has more shops IMO with a wider variety. Tokyo has a lot of your “standard” stuff albeit everything you ever need from bushings to barrels. Osaka has some really cool shops like SFBC and Gurkha which has loads of 2nd hand lovely stuff at such good prices, and brand new things that are only just on the street. what surprises me is how common it is. Like hobby shops that carry RC cars and model boats will carry a pretty decent TM and WA range
