  1. Completely understandable - when I was looking for a tech I spoke to a lot of mates to see who they'd used, and asked a few techs directly to gauge interest in the work I wanted doing.
  2. It's a Surefire Redi-Mag. Allows you to hold a spare magazine on the rifle next to the to the one in the magazine well. Saves having to draw a spare from a pouch, and on some AEGs they double up as battery containers.
  3. Airsoft Wizard in Immingham. Contact via IG. Let me know he had quite a bit of work on, but I wasn't in a rush so didn't bother me. Top quality work, did exactly what I asked for, kept in contact and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again.
  4. Finally got my M4 back from the tech, really happy with it! Can't decide whether to style it on a more recent or older L119A1. I'm aware there are a number of inaccuracies with it currently, have a carry handle on order and will be chopping the bayonet lug at some point.

For sale I have 6x ASG M4 Midcap magazines. I believe they hold 140 BB's. The magazines are metal, 4x are black, 2x are grey. Most have signs of wear, and have been used by myself. Have numbers in paint marker on the base. They feed without issue in Classic Army/ASG branded M4's. £5 for each magazine, +£1.50 to cover postage and fees. If you want all of them message me and we can make a deal.

  6. This is how my day went … yes it was great … that is all 👍🏼
  7. Which kind of antenna is it? Have you got a link? Thats a shame ref the lack of accessories, I’ve bought one to trial so will give it a go and see how we get on.
  8. My boots are dried and awaiting cleaning.. trousers went straight in the wash and are clean now!!
  9. Great day at Rifts inaugural battlesim at The Ridge yesterday. Started off with my set of webbing, didn’t get on with it when trying to change magazines quickly or access things from the rear pouches. Changed over to the Arktis chest rig, decided not to run my belt as there wasn’t really any requirement for a sidearm or extra magazines.
  10. Thanks Tommikka, some good points. I've also had to relay in the past due to terrain, and you're right that will probably be the workaround. My issue with using phones is the lack of being able to use them whilst on the move, unlike radios where you can use the PTT in one hand and rifle in another. However, if not moving then WhatsApp etc are a nice quick and easy solution. Haha it sounds like he'd have been best placed to do a comms check beforehand! We check ours are all working in the setup area before game on to ensure those kind of things don't happen!
  11. I know it's in the Gunman rules for their filmsim events, and 99.9% sure I've heard it on their briefs. "Acceptable weapon types - DMR weapons have longer barrels, magnified optics and are usually real world calibers such as 7.62mm. It is not an m4 carbine with a heavier spring in."
  12. Thanks Hatchet! Ahhh okay, is the woodland you used them in fairly flat or quite hilly? If the wattage ratings are fictitious anyway then I guess it potentially wouldn't make much difference! Waterproofing isn't a massive concern of mine - more that it was one of the only other advantages I could see over the 5's. Noted with regard to the accessories socket, half of the ones I've got are knackered now anyway so replacement isn't too much of a big deal. I may just pick one up and see how we get on with it 👍
  13. Evening all! Has anyone got any experience with the Baofeng UV-9R's? I've got about 10 of the UV-5's that the team use on events etc, but have recently come across the newer model and wondered if there is any genuine advantage to them? I'm not expecting a massive range increase but the longer battery life and waterproof-ness would be handy for longer events!
  14. @Enid_Puceflange you win this one - Sam got back to me today and they have some in stock! Heads up just in case anyone else is after one 👍
  15. As C-Diddy has said really, more about them being a chest rig with plenty of load carrying ability than a particular loadout. I love my Arktis chest rigs but you are limited in terms of carrying comms and being able to add extra pouches. The PK has the flexibility to add a couple more pouches to the sides of the magazine ones without overloading the rig, and still leaves you room in your utility pouches for water etc. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’ve wanted one since I got hands on with a friends, and they review pretty well for an option other than a plate carrier.
  16. Finally back in stock .. been waiting a while to get my hands on one of these, and I’ll be pacing about until it arrives! 😄
  17. Week off work with an ankle injury ... how long will it before I buy another RIF 😂

  18. It’s not pretty .. but finally got round to ordering and cutting my Shadow Foam. Much more reasonably priced than the Peli stuff, and it’ll do the job of stopping my rifle etc rolling about in the case.
  19. Cheers, I’ll drop them an email as well 👍🏼
  20. Thanks both, that does look like the exact part we need - but as first thought it seems to come as part of the actual gearbox which explains why it’s not on the exploded parts diagram. If we can get it to function without then we will … if not then I guess it’ll have to be rear-wired 😂
  21. Afternoon all! My CQBR is currently with a tech but he's run into an issue, so I've said I'll have a look into it also. The rifle is being front-wired, but where the battery wires now run they are potentially impeding the empty magazine cut-off switch. I'm well informed that the HK416c has a guide plate that keeps the wires from being in the way, so I'm trying to find the part number and then will try to source one. I've had a look at the exploded parts diagram and can't seem to see which part is the guide plate - does anyone have any idea which part it may be? Thanks in advance!

On behalf of a friend I have for sale a JG MP5A5 and magazines. It is well used and was sold to him by myself in working condition, but I'm not sure it's had much use since then. I've tested it and it does feed, fires on semi and full auto as it should. Unsure of range as I only had a small space to test it in. Priced to reflect condition, there are marks on the body and magazines. The stock does extend and lock in place without issue. Foregrip torch does not work. Two of the magazines have rust on them, still feed and could probably just be wire brushed off. Magazines with red tape are midcaps, without tape are hi-caps. Has a magazine clamp and slim-line hand guard also. Will be chrono'd this Saturday (25/03/23) and advert updated. Feel free to fire across any questions, I'd rather not split the gun and magazines but make me an offer and I will consider. Price including fees but not postage.

  23. I ran ASG blasters for years, but in the last 2 have moved across to Valkyrie. Even found they do .29’s which feed really well in my NGRS. Never had a problem with consistency with them that I used to get with Blasters either. Unfortunately I don’t buy them in massive quantities!
  24. Ah shame, the EPM ones don’t seem to have any grooves. However, maybe I could bodge something up ..
  25. Do the Magpul maglink couplers work with any of their magazines? Wondering if they’ll work with my PTS NGRS magazines … 🧐
