Some great replies here, and honestly I didn’t expect this much! I guess the take away message is: carry the basics, but be trained in it. As I’m an Ambulance Tech I carry a trauma kit with dressing, CAT tourniquet, gloves and pulse ox on my vest, with a standard FAK on my belt. Would 100% advise people to get trained, I’ve been in too many situations at work and elsewhere where literally having the basics could have made so much more difference. Get training, be fit peeps.

For any particular reason? Yeah that seems reasonable 😂

Following on from a conversation with some players, just thought I'd see what people are carrying in the way of first aid kits at game days? Do you carry one or just leave it to the site? Does anyone carry more than a first aid kit?

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Jacob Wright replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
Out on the game zone at Combat Airsoft Thetford a couple of years back and I loaded my RIF and blatted some shots off before the marshals had told us we could. I assumed because we were in the game zone people would have eyepro on, but fair play to the marshals they do a final check on everyone once they pass a certain flag. I was immediately escorted back to the safe zone and removed from site. And I'll tell you now, I'll never do it again! -

Following with interest as I’m on the fence between a TM MP7 and an MWS. Had a pair of GBBR WE G36’s years ago and they were a lot of fun, but the parts support wasn’t there and even with an NPAS fitted I couldn’t seem to get the fps below 400 😂 The only thing stopped me atm is having to buy new magazines, just managed to streamline my collection to exclusively NGRS which has saved on having to have loads of different magazines! That said, one of the guys on my team has an MWS and absolutely loves it. -

I like it! Might not be perfect up close but I’d say it probably helps the RIF blend in at a distance 👍🏼 Good job! -
Not played there for a little bit but never had a bad game there 👍🏼 Great site and the marshals are spot on as well.

If you're feeling creative you could probably make some from sticky back vinyl like they sell by the roll in hobby stores? -
I've done it! It's finally finished (for now 😅). Fitted the storm grip and dremeled the life out of the rail and outer barrel to be able to fit a crane stock LiPo into tithes morning. Also had to cut down the front wire and re-solder a deans onto it - not pretty but the heat shrink hides it!
-
Definitely a WE. Had one as my first GBB pistol many years ago, eventually shook itself apart 😂
-
Arrived today! Not bad for standard shipping! Now just to Dremel the life out of the front rail to make the battery fit 🙃

If it’s working then ~£100 for the P226. Looks like the E2 variant?

@Madhouse I'd keep the first antenna on it if you're going to use it on PMR frequencies. If you're going to use PMR frequencies you should have a licence from OFCOM, unless your site or game organiser has their own licence to cover this. There is a thread on this: This video is a really good, simple one for explaining how to programme the radios, and I've used it for mine. -
Managed to get it to work on my phone via the 'pay by PayPal' link. Shall update when they arrive

Tried to order some batteries from here, would get as far as confirming my address but then a payment screen would never load. Anyone had a similar problem?

Yes it's just another subdivision of the Nuprol brand.

This advert is COMPLETED!
- For sale
- Used
For sale on behalf of my brother is a Sector Velites G-VI Tan gas shotgun. It is used and has signs of wear, but still works. The shotgun is great fun for CQB, and has pretty good range for woodland as well. It has a shell carrier, full length top rail and CTR style stock. It comes with 5x shells, one of which is original and the others are Nuprol branded. Firing mode can be switched from 3 to 6 BB shots. I'd rather not post this as I don't have a box, postage and fees will be at buyers expense. Price is as advertised, please don't message me with lowball offers. WILL NOT SELL IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE A LEGITIMATE DEFENCE£90

Should I keep my OD carrier setup or swap to multiglam?
Jacob Wright replied to Beorn's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I'd stick with the OD set up, I think it looks pretty good! In terms of pouches, yes Multicam may be easier to find but if you shop around a bit then most manufacturers offer their kit in OD and/or Ranger Green (RG) at a push as well. -
I've seen these crop up a few times, like you say - certainly won't be the worst base for a budget A2 build. Definitely a lot cheaper than some of the other alternatives!
-
I don't think you'd be far off with £100, I've certainly seen the TM MP7's with similar faults asking for a lot more! If anything I feel you may be undervaluing it a bit, I can see the going retail rate is around £250-£260. So maybe £150 with the magazines? As it's an intermittent fault, could be an easy fix for someone with some knowhow?
