  1. Might put mine back in the box 😂
  2. Went to the Defiant Battlesim on Saturday at Longmoor UTC. Had a really good day, only hampered by poor comms and a couple of autumn showers. The teams seemed well balanced and the marshals/organisers were able to provide advice and deal with issues (not that I saw any) quickly and positively.
  3. How long before I can stand in the safe zone and say “back in my day we had to load our magazines with a manual speed loader, no auto loaders” 😂
  4. But we don’t want an auto loader .. we want a GBB Hi-Power!
  5. @Marf83@Cyy8883 check out this thread, seems someone managed to...
  6. Letting a mate borrow the A1 for a battlesim this weekend, have dropped it back to the short barrel to make it a bit easier for CQB and swapped the stock as the old school one is getting loose. Would love to have just an interchangeable set of upper receivers for this but it’s a nightmare because I’ve had it front wired.
  7. I've always used this video to help me when it's been a while since I haven't programmed a UV-5R. Keep it simple, write down the settings and do them one at a time 👍🏼
  8. I honestly didn't see any of that Saturday, maybe I was just lucky with the players around me!
  9. @Emergencychimps yes I was there Saturday! That's a real shame to hear, like you say that sounds completely out of character from what I expect of the site. I wonder what caused it, there was a big group of players who had travelled up for the weekend from the South Coast, I had a good chat with them throughout the day but didn't experience any issues. Normally I stick to their filmsim weekends, maybe I'll continue that way in the future!
  10. Popped along to Gunman Tuddenham for the first outing since April, mostly to test kit for the upcoming Defiant Battlesim in October. A good day to be fair, much warmer and drier than I expected, gameplay really good from both sides and not sure I heard of any hit-taking/cheat calling issues. Marshals were professional and helped to keep the gameplay going.
  11. A fair point - I'm not sure 'need' is at all applicable to airsoft 😂
  12. I was tempted to buy another, but then realised that only once in the last few years of airsoft have I actually needed 3 pistol magazines at a game... 😂
  13. As others have said - I don’t get a notification for questions, and am unlikely to check on my own listings until they need to be renewed. I wouldn’t necessarily see it as bad manners or a measure of reliability; if you want a question answered then send a PM?
  14. Definitely - do it before you get tinnitus like me, not nice to live with!
  15. I discovered the magazines work well in my G19 as well which is nice to know, I probably will pick some more up but it might not be any time soon at £35 each (although I agree the orange follower is the best part 😂).
  16. Mine just arrived, really impressed by the quality as expected from TM. I have noticed the magazine release feels a bit stiff compared to my Gen 3 G19, probably just a case of breaking it in. The ambi slide release is a nice touch as well, and still fits well in both my Kydex Customs and Safariland holsters. Can't wait to give it a go at the next game!
  17. Having not bought anything for a few months, I sold up some kit and then reinvested the money in some new bits! - 2x antennas for my Baofengs to try and improve squad-command comms - ACOG with RMR for my L119A1 - TM Glock 17 Gen 5 Feel like a kid at Christmas!
  18. Really useful thread - I'm waiting on delivery of an ACOG which I want to stick a piece of acrylic or lexan on 👍🏼 hadn't even thought of eBay!
  19. Just ordered mine and a spare magazine, will eagerly await its arrival! Thanks for the heads up @JimFromHorsham
  20. Have we spotted the PTS Masada - up for sale for not an unreasonable price … but needs reassembling first? 😬
  21. Yeah as soon as the alarm bells were ringing I ended it there.
  22. Rebuilt the belt kit, fits quite well with the Peacekeeper - now just need to use it in ‘anger’. Do need to replace the buckle, this one is nice and secure up until you lay prone or knock the middle of it on something and then it immediately unclips 😂
  23. This was back in January with the Peacekeeper. The magazines fitted nicely into 5.56 flapped pouches.
  24. Since getting my NGRS MP5 I run the magazines in my Platatac chest rig, it comfortably holds 5 across the front with no retention issues. However I did find that they fitted nicely into my Esstac 9mm pouches, so I have considered just carrying a couple on a belt rig if I were to go light for some reason.
