No. Sellers can charge what they like; it is the buyer who needs to do their own due diligence and decide if they are willing to pay it. Considering the poor quality of some adverts, especially photos of the item, I am amazed that some stuff still gets sold. Many people are uninformed as they cannot be bothered to reseach (or even read this topic) and will buy anything, and a few are willing to pay a premium for less rigerous defence checking.
