As advised by a few of you on here, I purchased some new eye protection for my lad. I got the nuprol glasses for him while I tried to use a fairly standard mask I already had with an ex fog thingy. Due to the rain and humidity I really struggled and couldn't see a thing after a few minutes even with the fan. Being I spent so much on Rifs, I decided to get something that improved my vision and enjoyment of the game. It was a massive improvement, and I could actually see... Definitely worth the money, and hopefully will keep us both safe. The goggles didn't stop him dropping and losing 2 mid cap mags... But the great lads at the site helped find them and returned them. TM AK102 NGRS. Bought 2nd hand and thought I'd gotten a bit of a deal but turns out the previous tech work was very damaging. It looks like the original problem was the little nub that allows safe, semi, full auto had snapped but instead of fixing or fitting a new nub the tech had modified the selector plate, cut a new full auto slot in the receiver, removed the plate that stops the trigger from moving on safe and fitted the worlds biggest fuse holder under the front handguard. cue designing and printing a new safety plate, drilling and pinning a new nub into place, fitting a eagle6 AK selector and adding a leviathan, filling in the new selector marking with JB weld and then sanding and painting the receiver. Since I had it in bits I fitted a steel stock catch (TM one has a habit of breaking if you drop the AEG), heavily modified a lower foregrip to fit the NGRS (much drilling, sanding, grinding and then painting). Also fitted a mock Bulgarian flash hider as it came with the AK105 bell flash hider and not the TM AK102 one. It came with a upgraded inner barrel, gears and spring and is sitting nicely at 340 on a .25 points -
I'm pretty sure that's just standard equipment for HPA users.4 points

Cheers mate! I couldn't find an Adidas jacket unfortunately so I didn't think I'd earned the right to the slav squat just yet.2 points

I give it a solid 8/10. You lose points for not slav-squatting for the picture, comrade. (Looks good though!)2 points

Been there with that seller… I was bursting to get a GHK sg553 a couple of years ago, and he had one Priced at not much less than retail I just couldn’t give him my money, but patience paid off I got the very gun he was selling then, a month later , from one of his “mates” at £150 cheaper2 points -

Irrespective of whether members have been happy with their deals with him, many, me included, have questioned the validity of his ads. Such as claims the goods are new, but no warranty is given, & according to the forum rules, retailers/dealers aren't allowed, & all items are to be considered secondhand. As for his prices, they've often been shown to be equal to, or even higher than rrp, even though he'll try to claim otherwise.2 points -

I want to sell the following rifles and am trying to work out fair prices for them to recoup some costs and get more AKs! LCT LC3A3 and LCT LC3A4 both unskirmished with a total of 5 midcaps LCT LK53A2 and LK53A3 with a total of 6 short midcaps LCT LK33A2 and LCT LK33A2 with a total of 5 long midcaps Would it be best to sell them with 1 magazine each and then part out the other magazines in separate listing as my initial thought was just sell each rifle for £230 with a magazine each?1 point -

It proper pissed down for the first half of the morning, only 2 rifs got wet luckily. Wiped em down as often as possible and all my gear is now in the "gun room" with the dehumidifier going. We had a great time, we took plenty of shots and have the bruises to prove it. Thanks for the advice guys.1 point

Collect a few of those silica gel packets and keep them in your gun case. Wipe your guns dry when you get home (don't leave them overnight). The electronics will be fine but you can get this powdery oxidisation on the reciever and screws going rusty over time1 point -

Have you tried increasing the dwell? It might be that the dwell is too low so you're horrendously undervoluming. I had similar issues with my MTW 308 and that solved it for me.1 point -

Link above for the repro one looks good. Worth checking your site rules as I've been places where cold steel type rigid knives aren't allowed to be used for melee kills and only bendy rubber types are (assuming your site even allows knife/melee kills, some don't.). The other option if you're only using it for looks and not drawing it is just to get a sheath and a Kabar handle.1 point

I've seen mosfets die or go on the fritz in heavy rain as they're a bit more exposed than normal AEG electronics, but normal AEG electronics are pretty good in the rain. If there are torrential downpours you may get some issues, but in general you'll be fine1 point

As a previous comment has advised.. **collection only** and seeing it being re-listed, re-listed, re-listed. Sending a message to advise interest in item and explaining I can see it having been re-listed many times annd happy to cover all postage costs. Then being ignored. And then seeing it re-listed again, and again and again…1 point -

I don't sell many rifs as I like to keep my toys but it's certainly been recommended in these forums that sellers simply check the buyers site history (comments, pics posted, feedback) for peace of mind.1 point -
Just being out in the Rain isn't going to damage your AEGs, just keep the barrel pointed downwards so no rain gets inside, and make sure to dry it off at the end of the day.1 point

Just finished putting this together, it was a boneyard Cyma Platinum MP5 CM0.41G which was scratched, bashed and wouldn’t shoot straight. A good clean and service on the inside, fresh coat of paint to the metalwork, fore grip, Nuprol torch, theta optic, a bit of camo tape and extended battery tube for the stock and she’s ready to skirmish on Sunday. Might pull it apart again and paint the metal parts in camo and add a dummy suppressor at some point but trying to decide if it should stay Matt black as it is a MP5?1 point
