At least they aren’t the ones who come onto an airsoft forum following their arrest for a firearms offence looking for some form of validation of having over powered paintball like guns with inappropriate projectiles loaded ready to go in the bedside cabinet next to their baseball bat, machete and crack.2 points

G&G L85A3
ruskitseller reacted to Jonjacob34 for a topic
Seem G&G have updated their website for the new L85A3 You can access the exploded diagram for the changes. it continues to be a ETU style weapons but with some notable changes besides the obvious furniture. Trademark don't appear to be one to one with real steel version. New hop unit design, dial type and a new outer barrel to support it. Likely a flat bucking. New style of pistol grip which houses the battery similar to ares verson. Piston size unknown., though sector gear appears to have 16 teeth so piston likely to have 10mm spacer and standard piston. An electric Micro switch trigger? (see below) no more trigger bar to gear box. Features G2; motor braking function; pre cocking (8 Stages); 3 round burst; 5 round burst. Not sure if this will replace perun but out of the box this aint bad. link to product page: https://www.guay2.com/en/product/detail-2763 Hopefully these will go on sale in the UK.1 point -
Non-airsoft playing cosplayers who visit a players' forum and want support to circumvent the laws and regulations around purchasing a RIF with no regard for the potential fall out that could happen and make things more difficult for actual players. The other thing that grinds my gears is the self-importance such people show when they say they don't care about people's opposition, nor do they appreciate you can't always get what you want in life. Even if your circumstances are difficult, there isn't always room for exceptions.1 point

I'm inclined to agree, Just-Cos has been proven to be a load of shite that can only go wrong eventually, with potential repercussions to every law abiding player, something none of us wants. On the basis that the majority of forum members have voiced opposition to the Just-Cos setup, I don't think there's any more productive discussion can be had, so im locking the thread. If anyone feels im wrong to do this, please pm me & we'll discuss it further.1 point

If only there was a section of this website that had... I don't know... an area where you can post an advert for a replica you're looking to buy... Wouldn't that be great?!1 point -
Which retailers in the UK accept Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance?

It's worth remembering that there's the possibility that deliberate attempts to get around the vcra could get our defence removed completely. Our defence was given on the basis that the airsoft community would be self policing1 point -
You can sell for whoever you like, but responsibility lies solely with you. To that end, I would say don't divulge that you're an intermediary unless asked a question you cannot immediately answer, for one it doesn't inspire confidence in a seller or item, it plants the seed of doubt regarding responsibility should the item, for example an aeg, turn out to be a lemon. That in turn opens up another can of worms, if someone sells on behalf of a third party, deals done & moneys passed to the owner, & then the aeg implodes on its first outing a week later, is the 3rd party gonna return the funds ?. Its a bit of a minefield?1 point

The bit that makes me laugh is the way it's described as "high end" when half of it is chinese clones. Don't get me wrong, some of the budget friendly kit can be really good value for money but to call it high end is taking the piss1 point -
https://kicbbgun.com.tw/en/pro_05_02.php?id=26855&category=188 based on my last few rifle orders, EMS is about $60USD, so you'd have it shipped for £389.57 - then you just pay ~18-20% at customs on top + £12 for parcelfarce handling1 point

Modify-TECH 2 stage trigger box for MWS (does it make much difference?)
MistakenMexican reacted to GiantKiwi for a topic
A two-stage trigger has two distinct phases of travel before firing. The first stage involves a longer, lighter pull to take up the slack. The second stage is a shorter, heavier pull that initiates the firing sequence. In theory this unit would allow the MWS to have the one thing this platform lacks in general, which is a crisp and precise trigger. However, in practice this particular unit is frought with problems where it is entirely possible in normal operation for the ZET plate to be bounced out of place and jam the BCG. It's firmly in the do not buy list until the manufacturer addresses the issue. If you desperately want a 2 stage trigger, Guns Modify offer one, but its very spendy.1 point -

New joiners getting classifieds from google and messaging you to ask if its still available, when the big orange banner at the top of the page says "Completed, Sold". Multiple times this week on the same item which sold nearly a month ago. One last week about something that sold in 2020..1 point -
