    Selling my Tokyo Marui Mk23, includes 4 mags, genuine DTD Holster, 2 viper tactical pouches and a generic dump pouch, still has the unjamming rod and manuals in the carry case, I skirmished this for one game but it’s just too big for me as I play CQB! Shoots really well and gets a lot of attention, especially being a genuine TM with the HK markings, the only issue is that the battery cover for the LAM is missing, but it still functions 3 mags are WE and hold gas, 1 TM but has a small leak from the inlet valve, the mags have always been stored with a small amount Abbey Maintenance gas. Will also include a mystery patch as I have a load going spare, Can post for £10 extra, or collection in the North Gloucestershire Area, price negotiable Would consider a swap for an AK or something interesting

    The problem is the test they use for 'indistinguishable' and 'similar appearance' is a varient of the 'man on the street' test. So basically anything approximately gun shaped and black/grey would qualify. It's an awfully written piece of legislation. And as for fitting in I'm hurt you forgot about me from ArniesAirsoft lol. I'm still vaguely around just very ill. Oh yeah I get what they are doing in real terms but... It does appear to be a truly cynical attempt at fulfilling letter of the law whilst providing something that's not fit for purpose/utter bollocks.

    Without being specific, It's up north and has a very world-ending name. It's probably worth avoiding anyway, unless endless HPA and Drum mags in a small, dense arena is your thing.

    All non blow back pistols are quieter than GBB ones due to less moving parts. The mk23 just gets mentioned the most as they're the most easily available. Also being able to take a suppressor allows them to be even quieter. Is there a specific model you're interested in?

    Jesus wept. RIFT Airsoft sold its working ex-rental guns for ~£60 at the end of May. The ones with faults went for £20 less or so. If memory serves, there were some basic Specna Arms M4s and G&G Raiders.

    I'm just joshing bud I don't take anything personally on the internet! 100% it's full of rip off merchants and chancers, I've seen partially used bottles of average bb's being sold for the price of a full bottle of Geoff's or longbows. Definitely preying on the ill-informed and naive on there in the hopes to get a sale to someone desperate for gear but not having any kind of defence. No seller on there has ever asked me for any kind of defence but regularly asked on here and prefired.

    The quietest aeg that you can make is most likely something like an Aug or previously mentioned an F2000. The gearbox is very enclosed and the areas around it can be padded out with foam and etc for further sound proofing. Although that's only if all variables between all the different aegs are constant. Noises come from every single part of the gearbox. The motor, gears, piston, piston head and cylinder head slapping and other bits. The fact is if you take 10 aegs out of the box. All the same model and from the same manufacturer you will find each one sounds different

Also it's worth remembering that we're using things which are relatively mass produced and put together without any precision or tuning so 2 identical guns could easily produce different noise levels depending on whether they were put together at the start or 10 minutes before the end of shift

    I got around that issue by short stroking the sector gear by two teeth, giving the whole thing a damn good shimming and fitting a high speed Warhead motor. But I have more money than sense so your mileage may vary!

    A good fun day at gaol events the jail. Great site and well managed. My only gripe with this place is the time to set up and safety brief takes a while, today we arrived at 0810 but we didn't start shooting till 1030ish. But I can overlook this for a well run site during game. The marshals are spot on and the site gaffer keeps a bit of humour and professionalism in the day. Was my second time here and will definitely be back again.

    For any rayguns held by the 501st legion - every raygun is based on a real firearm, based on the original Star Wars props being anything they had in the studio props …. keep your eyes out for Bristol news over the weekend UKGF don’t tend to attract the idiots, and they do put out good guidelines on not being an idiot, but as we are pretty much in central Bristol this weekend extra reminders have been posted
