    Site at risk

Has been for years tbh. They get outdoor sites up and running, trash the land or have the farm life harmed (One of their sites was a working farm and a player thought it would be hilarious to shoot a pig?) then get kicked out. They went into “liquidation” a while back and then was miraculously bought out the next day but kept the same trading name 🤔 The same area they were using allegedly had an application for axe throwing denied a few months prior. Seems to be a case of trying to avoid the legalities, getting caught out and their players kicking up a huff. I doubt a petition will sway the local council

Apocalypse went through this a few years ago and were eventually granted permission. A petition will not have any impact if they are in breach of planning regulations; while this may seem like a bunch of killjoy jobsworths ruining a business and preventing players having fun, planning regulations play an important role in protecting the environment, in the wider meaning of the word.

Yup, I worked for some cheery rogues who liked to change the company name(s) and liquidate, then immediately create a new company with the old name. They didn't feel any need to mention it to staff or creditors until a claim for non-payment reached a court and got laughed off. They got away with doing this multiple times, for years, until they ran out of potential creditors. Anyway, this is why I generally hold off on signing "Save this thing you've never heard of" petitions until a bit more of the story comes out.

A petition will have no impact whatever. Once an enforcement notice has been issued, the only route for an appeal is via the Planning Inspectorate, which is a national level body. A company that I used to be involved with went through that route a few years ago.

In that case any sympathy I had is now gone. It sounds to me like their attitude is fuck everyone else, we'll do whatever we like If they're in that much debt I question their wisdom on opening another site considering the cost involved and that sites often aren't that profitable

  15. I agree that it sounds like the Falcon is dead, however the GATE Titan II is an exact fit and 100% works with the stock trigger (the Falcon is basically a cheap GATE Titan II clone with a lot of the configuration abilities / features not present)

    MK18 rail for mws Urgi

I believe it’s different fittings for the both rails, don’t think it’s as easy as like a 2 min swap out, It’s probably going to be an absolute pain in the ass. Better off buying another MWS.

    GHK Muzzel removal

Backing up what Enid said, heat works, a heat gun on low or even a hair dryer, held near it for a few minutes will allow it to expand to "crack" the join. Just remember to direct it away from any plastic/rubber parts, and that it will stay hot for a few minutes. I always forget that taking those wee party sausage rolls out, it's instinct to try one at 220degrees. 🤬

If one person needs to wear it due to the environment likely to be experienced on site, why doesn't everyone? 🤔 Maybe you just didn't hear them? It's a pretty low risk, but it's both a cumulative one, and acute if something big goes off right by your ear. Purely personally anecdotally, I have mild tinnitus that's probably from biking - even though I always wear moulded earplugs - but which I didn't notice until I started earsofting, so, eh. Could be either, a bit of both, or something else that I'm not even aware of. I'm not going to get on a high horse about it, I don't wear ear protection while airsofting, but I would say that big bangs, like wankerguns, 40-Mikes and 10 billion lumen lights, are a lot more fun for the pitcher than the receiver.

despite having once been nearly run-down by a deer mid-game, a circumstance that prompted my inexperienced invitee to comment if it happened often to which i replied no, it does not. i do see how the *ahem* "biodegradeable" nature of our bb's is sus at best and that environmental sustainability is unfortunately a valid concern for site longevity.

Is it snappy when you pull it in/out? I had the same problem and it turned out that the suppressor washers were stopping it from properly returning to the neutral position. I run it now with a slight gap and no washers and get no wobble.

nonono they have been operating for a few years , had maybe 5 sites and have been asked to leave or left the most egress one is as we are a garrison town there's quite a lot of training facility's for the army around small FIBUA with woodlands, they pretty much got airsoft banned from using any training areas because of bad hand over , and are in 81,000 pounds in debt

  38. Maybe an anchor emoji for greeting owners of HPA guns or tan coloured SCARs would be useful?

  39. methinks a "that's disgusting" aka throwing up reaction might be useful. maybe something a bit stronger than "careful now", for when a post truly needs actual negative emotion (that isn't the aforementioned vomit inducing disgust) the fact i can think of only negative reactions to add is definitely not a tell for my naturally glass-half-empty lookout on life........

  40. Maybe a "Tackle smells of cheese" or "I would swap a half eaten Mars bar for that" a "welcome" reaction for when new people join. A "boo hiss" to jovially disagree with someone. Wanted to make sure its doable first before blasting out requests.

    Ollie Talks Airsoft

I'm new to the forum as I've only recently signed up to buy stuff from the classifieds (at Ollie's recommendation). I know how much of an impact Ollie had on the community so thought you all deserve an update, but I'm afraid that I've only got crap news. Ollie went into hospital at the end of last week for a procedure. Myself and few other friends from our school days went to visit from Norfolk anyway. Ollie's blood pressure was very low Saturday and he had very limited bursts of consciousness. They managed to stabilise him and they were hoping to get him back home for Sunday. Unfortunately he continued to decline and when we rocked up at 11:40ish we where invited into his room by his family. Over the next hour or so we swapped stories about our shenanigans with Ollie over the years, and at some point Ollie seamlessly transitioned from this plane of existence with a smile on his face surrounded by people that loved him. Ollie was very brave at the end.
