As above, the only time you should ever have a mag in it is when you're in the game zone. Any decent site should be telling you this, regularly reminding you of it, and actively checking magwells on entering the safe zone - otherwise it's not safe in any sense. Mag in when you enter the game zone, cock it, job done.5 points

Noob question
Jubbs and one other reacted to The_Lord_Poncho for a topic
I have had a similar issue with the MK23, but only when in the game area - e.g. bending down and somehow pressing the hammer in when it's holstered. It should never be an issue for you in the safe area, as your magazine should always be removed from the pistol anyhow. I use a DTD holster for the MK23 when playing which effectively blocks the trigger, so for me i simply have got into a discipline of cocking the hammer back before a game starts+ after using the pistol during a game.2 points -
Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

My mate and I getting our first game of the year in I think he got stage fright when he saw the camera pointing at him He loves a bit of the 80’s UK loadout (he served so the beret and patches were earned) My silly looking cap blows cool air down behind my lenses, first time trying that, and 100% no fogging2 points -

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
ButcherBill reacted to pyromancer6 for a topic
Decided to stop sitting on my hands about it and finally pulled the trigger on parts to get my poor venrable DE UTR back to the world of the living (The rotary and 6mm bearings are to get another build out of the graveyard) Absolutely shitting myself about the Perun install, but hey - how hard can it be? (I'm fucked)1 point -
Savia PCC45
Galvatron reacted to MistakenMexican for a topic
So I’ve almost finished modifying my PCC45 - most of the MWS upgrades have been drop in. The SD rail took a little modification but just a couple of minutes with a file as the rail interferes with the lower receiver.1 point -
Receiver set engraved by West Laser. 416 mag for the 416 I don't own. AEG parts because AEGs are totally in vogue right now and they're what everyone is talking about (Madbull buffer tube, 2 x G&P barrel nuts, old school TM lo-cap USGI style mag). Above is from MLE Mart. Website is pretty bad, but they went so far as to take the staple out of the packaging for the mag, wrapped it in bubble wrap then put it back inside. Well, someone did anyway, if it wasn't TM themselves I presume it was MLE.1 point

Royal Mail Tracking
ButcherBill reacted to Mik3F for a topic
Yep that’s very true Far more important things to worry about. But I want my new toys1 point -
I fully expect this is the case Just wish RM would notify people of this, instead of just saying all services ran to schedule the previous day, as thats clearly not the case In case you can't tell, I don't like waiting for things, especially when other order shipped later have arrived1 point

100% agree with this The seller has already said I can get my money back if it doesnt arrive Id rather it arrive though so I dont have to start looking again for my new Pistol I have no reason to not trust him, 100% feedback rating on here1 point

Royal Fail tracking is a joke. I've had items delivered that were still showing as being hundreds of miles away. Until the item is in your hands, it's still the seller's responsibility, and only they can make a claim against it. It's quite literally their problem. Don't sweat it, but if it doesn't show up in the promised timeframe, start a refund / chargeback process, and don't close it until you have the item or the money.1 point

And no change overnight Have to say though the seller has been great this morning, checking up on it for me Hoping to see some movement soon I know you are all riveted to your seats ?1 point -
A barrel blocker / barrel condom (properly fitted) will prevent accidental discharge Removing the magazine and firing to ensure there’s nothing left in there will mean there’s nothing to be shot1 point

You may have guessed it but custom guns built from scratch are a nightmare to price though the fact that you've serviced them and that they run well work in your favour. Usually, it's 70% of the lowest current retail price for a nigh-on pristine RIF you'd buy off the shelf. You may want to use that as a starting point for the parts you bought. I'd imagine the Systema gearbox will retain the most value.1 point

Why is it that Royal Mails tracking has now gone to pot Hardley ever works for me and when it does its limited at best I have a parcel that was collected yesterday in Scotland and no updates since then. They are happy to increase the cost of everything from them, but don't really seem to improve their service much Anyway rant over0 points
