I finally managed to get back to South Herts Airsoft today. Arriving in the morning is when the only negatives happened, first I'd forgotten my BFG reloading tool and then I reaised I lwas almost out of green gas. Unfortunately so was the on site shop. This wasn't so much of a problem though as with the low temperature, and the site being woodland, I wasn't expecting to use the pistol or shotgun much. Numbers were low at just under 20 people, but with it being a small site this wasn't a problem as I could choose whether I wanted to go loud or try some sneaky shenanigans. We played a variety of games including capture the flag (including one version with a twist where a third team with limited lives started defending the flag), king of the hill, escort the VIP and others. Gameplay was excellent with nobody complaining about hit taking or overkill, just happy faces around. The way airsoft should be. If you're near Hertfordshire I definitely recommend paying them a visit

Took me hours of work to get from the top to the bottom.

Thought I'd tidy the case up, it's got the wave foam so flipped the bottom layer upside down and start hacking away at it to suit my smg, mags, couple of batteries & pistol, job done.

This was before VCRA days so no pesky two tones to worry about back then ?. I think I had one of the first JG G36s in the country. I imported it from Gunners if anyone remembers them.

It's such a shame. I've got an early V2 GHK M4 set up as a 119A2 and it's a lovely thing. Very reliable, shoots well most of the year and a real joy to shoot. It's a shame they've lost that. If VFC produce a carbine variant, I'll be all over it.

Ordered a pair of those adapters, so hopefully I can make use of them, even if I can only use one, it will be better than jaffa taping around the mag to hold the CO2 in place. Also contacted VFC, and they are going to send a replacement hose for free, so that should be on the way this week along with the box mag mount and screws I have ordered as well

Can't really add much more to this. I had the hose on my CO2 box mag fail, but I contacted VFC and they are shipping a replacement hose to me One possible solution to the cool down problem with the green gas tank is to get some small, single use hand warmers and place one or two around the tank to help heat it up.

Also got a H&K USP Co2, tbh never use the side arm, but they look good? .... i know nothing about gas guns !

Finally got a chance to test mine today and I’m VERY impressed! As you said, it actually rips! Runs very nicely on an 11.1 20C - super snappy and the gearbox sounds very happy. Accuracy is exceptional with the stock internals and hops 0.32s beautifully. I bought a super macron and omega nub to put in it as I wasn’t expecting much from the stock setup, but I’m more than happy with it so will save those for another day/project. For £180 it’s a fantastic RIF.

Correct and edited to fix ….. to be fair to me, I had spent 4 hours moving tables to set up a comicon the evening before then got up at 5am to drive back there then posted ….. I’m impressed that the rest made sense You can buy a BB gun without a defence ….. but it would be >50% brightly coloured or one of the other criteria of an IF

Tokyo Marui Hk417 redone as a G27K. This took a bit of work but happy with the result. Parts list: TM HK417 NGRS with Titan, madbull inner barrel and 4uantum friction pro hop rubber and nub. Airsoft Artisan G27K handguard some random front sling loop thing Ultima industries HLOK side rails (74mm) 2 inch barrel extension as the Airsoft Artisan extension doesn't like the TM threads on the flash hider TM HK fat grip (I've got a real one here, just need to find it!) HAO HK curved trigger guard (need to paint) Ares HK flip up rear sight Freedom Art Hk417 sling mount VFC GBB Slim 417 stock heavily modified to fit the TM stock tube and take a lipo.
