  2. silhouetted a G36C and a Lasrifle- It's far from it but pretty close. What I've added is essentially a big chunk of plastic that covers the magwell and the handuard,It can be pinned via the handguard pin and the pin for the magwell. The barrel can be easily milled out of aluminium or cut out of PVC with a dremel. Personally I think Jcheese's suggestion of simply building a new body and just recycling G36 parts is the best option. The G36 does not look grimdark enough to be a lasrifle.

  4. Hi guy's https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/62588 Please take a look at this petition. At the end of the day we are all 'shooters' and all have an interest in guns. Whether you shoot real steel or not, please don't repeat our past and not support other shooters out there because it doesn't affect you. After all, we own the very existence of Airsoft to 'real steel' so please continue to support it's existence in civilian life and fun pass times. An example for why I am signing... Even though I am soon to bunk off to the Channel Islands, to take up disciplines I am deprived of on the mainland. Whether this petition passes or fails is irrelevant to me come a few weeks from now. I won't just be shooting .22 pistol, but centrefire calibres in both Handguns and semi-automatic rifles. I am still wanting to support my fellow Brits persisting with their shooting on the mainland however. This is a petition to legalise .22 pistols. It has received the backing of big shooting organisations such as BASC and the UK NRA. This petition was started by Firearms UK. Firearms UK have bought a tonne of posters advertising this petition. If you would like any and have suitable locations to pin them up that will attract attention, please contact Erika Sykes (member of Firearms UK) and state how many you would like and where you would like them posted to. Posters and postage are free. Erika Sykes email: [email protected] Firearms UK Website Address: http://firearmsuk.org/ Petition: https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/62588

  5. There is a CQB site in Rotherham, it's run by Skirmish Airsoft, there's one game a month and it's in the old accommodation blocks just around the corner from Wentworth House, it's very good. There's also The Stan in Sheffield just outside the city centre, Brit-Tac's woodland site in Barnsley, and a couple of other sites not too far away either, Yorkshire Tactical Airsoft out in the Peaks, Bawtry Paintball which runs airsoft events hosted by other companies on a fairly regular basis, lastly there'sTac-House Spartan in Chesterfield, which is a CQB site too. So the area's pretty well catered for with regard to sites. Shops though, are a little lacking, I'm only aware of Op7 on Infirmary Road, there's also a much smaller shop run by The Stan's owner on Malin Bridge, as well as a paintball shop next door. Though their stock leaves a lot to be desired imo and the staff aren't the most knowledgable people in the world either. I tend to travel to Patrol Base if I feel like having a physical look at stuff and that's about an hour or so away in Huddersfield.

  8. A lot of us airsofters are constantly working on our loadouts. I am finding that as I work on perfecting my WW2 British airbourne loadout, I keep seeing nice shiny things that wouldn't work with this loadout but maybe I might build another loadout sometime to use them. My latest idea for a future loadout is the WW2 Aussie loadout. It came about when I found out about an ebay shop for ww2 stuff http://stores.ebay.co.uk/spearheadmilitaria/ So heres how the loadout would be made up: Cool Aussie hat, tunic and trousers Leather bandolier (cos it looks really cool) with belt or just my P37 Webbing Shoot and Scoot Lee Enfield Mk4 So what ideas have been going through your heads regarding a loadout you may or may not do in the future?

Middle one actually looks like he's in a Harry Enfield scouser sketch, the one on the right is wearing a camo shell suit. Was this taken in Liverpool? I think the bandanas are to protect the perms.

  10. Easily done... You: On the one hand I have a realistic imitation firearm; on the other I have apron strings. Rents: [jaw drop] Er... when you put it like that... right. Er... phone when you get there, ok?

    NAE 14!

Nottingham is about an hour from Sheffield, and you're South of me. Add an hour for picking people up on the way, food and toilet stops etc. S'about 6 hours. Especially once you get lost in the most white dominant town on Earth. People were staring at my mate Ben as though he were an alien. (He's Asian lol) Last year the trip home was one of the highlights, we were all so sleep deprived that we were literally high from tiredness. Talking about service stations being ideal places for tramps to live, 'cos they're open all the time. Then how they must all set out to make it to a service station once they become tramps, but only a very small percentage survive the journey lol. Then my mate Joe was like, "Why don't they just live in the countryside?" and we went off on one talking about how there's fruit everywhere and shit. Not laughed so hard in absolutely years, seriously. But anyway, you can have a go with it if an opportunity presents itself, Tac. Joe bought one at the same time and it actually stripped a piston absolutely months ago, so I dunno if they're just inconsistent in terms of production batches, or if he was abusing his a little more than I was, or what. Hopefully it'll still be around come August time.

  12. Check the motor connectors are on properly. Are you handy with tools? it's going to most likely be a connector issue, rather than a 'box issue. Check the wires aren't stripped anywhere and shorting

^^Let's be fair here, they do look a bit more like a bunch of thieves who just happened to each know somebody with enough sense not to be photographed, or indeed to be elsewhere while the job is in hand, than they do a military unit. Love it!
