Hey all. I have a Tokyo Marui M9 U.S. (With adjustable hop) It's in used condition, has only seen a few skirmishes, no missing pieces or cracks etc. No issues. Includes 4 gas tight Tokyo Marui Magazines and a Nuprol retention holster. Upgraded with a Maple Leaf I key tensioner and Maple Leaf MR Hop 50 degree bucking. How much should I be charging?

1911's have terrible gas capacity. TMs are the best 1911 because of the low weight plastic slide, but even TMs struggle to fire more than a single loads worth of bb's. It's likely you will need to lube the slide as TMs can be quite dry out of the box. A dry slide will also increase gas usage to persuade a dry slide to move. Also if you are constantly firing it in a short amount of time, the mags and gas get very cold, which means it gets far weaker and prevent the slide from locking back. The warmer the mags, the higher power the gas inside is. TMs do not have silent fill valves so gas does escape when filling. This is perfectly normal. ------------ Lube the slide with silicon oil, don't constantly use 1911 gas pistols with rapid fire and I am sure it will lock back on empty every time. Readjust your expectations, 1911s are cool, but the small gas capacity has always been a problem and you will need to regas for every load of bb's you fire.

I would love me a Spanish Cetme. Here's one in the Estonian Weapons museum I visited in March (Tallinn) -
The Maxx hop unit has been known to do this. Best to go back to the original hop unit or one that can cope with wiser tolerances (IE a plastic one). Everything has to fit and be perfect for the Maxx hop to work.

I had this problem in a V6 gearbox which turned out to be using both a double bearing Piston Head and a double bearing Spring Guide. (Nothing to do with the battery) I had to get rid of the bearings on the spring guide to stop the piston locking towards the rear. If there is not enough space for the gears to complete the cycle and release the piston, It will lock.

Impossible to know. That idea was formed back when we all used NimH batteries with Tamiya connectors. Now we use all sorts of batteries and connectors with less resistance. If your replica is badly shimmed, motor height incorrect or a heavier spring is used, it effects the amount of shots you get. Also using semi auto over auto actually uses more energy per shot. Also temperatures can effect power draw. So 1 Mah per shot is likely a very inaccurate baseline.

Personally I think Ghillies should be restricted to BASR users only. Not even DMR. There have been more M4 HPA equipped Ghillie users at the last three sites I have gone to than BASR Users.

Hey Folks. I have here a JLS RX4. A Fairly rare beast. Difficult to get hold of. Used for one skirmish and is in great condition. The bits of the Outer barrel you cant see were shaved down for weight relief on a lathe. A very professional job. It sounds amazingly quiet, perfectly shimmed. AOLS 363mm Barrel Element V3 Spring Guide XT 22TPA Neo Motor Maple Leaf bucking and nub. Jefftron Mosfet SHS 14 Tooth Piston ZCI Aug Nozzle ZCI 14:1 CNC Gearset ZCI Piston head ASG Ultimate M105 Spring It is quite fussy with mags. It prefers standard Stanag Highcap M4 mags or Midcaps with low strength springs (Mid cap syndrome has always been a problem with these). I can include a midcap mag with it which feeds fine if half full. £210 picked up from my place in Central London. Postage will cost £15 extra. Priority will be given to those who can pick up first.£210
