  2. It was titled as “Ares Thompson M1A1 EBB”, however the EBB had been disabled (Not an issue as I would have disabled it anyway but it wasn’t listed as disabled) He mentions it’s been used for reenacting and airsoft, and is battle worn. Cool, not an issue and was actually one of the selling points for me. He mentions it shoots at 335 fps, has a Zci inner barrel (it does), a maple leaf 60 degree rubber (It did, but the rubber was torn up - Discovered this the day after purchasing when I went to chrono it and 3 mags wouldn’t feed. I messaged him mentioning this, he said he tested it on the Monday and it was all working fine.), and an omega nub (It did not, it actually had no nub at all.) The advert also said it came with only a few high cap magazines however the majority of them were high caps. The only fault he mentioned was the selectors was loose (Via private message.), no mention of half the screws missing, no mention of the wood furniture handguard being super glued in place because he dethreaded the part that holds it on, no mention of the major screws that hold important parts on (I.E the handguard, the pistol grip) being stripped of thread, no mention of the motor installed failing and almost burnt out, no mention of the selector axis being super glued in place (You have to unscrew these to access the gearbox) It was to my understanding that the replica was in working order, minus the wobbly selectors - when I initially received it I put a battery on and pulled the trigger. It went bang like intended so I thought “Cool, it works” but I don’t have the means to fire bb’s where I live so couldn’t test it until the next day - which is where it all went wrong.
  3. Yeah good luck man, I just had to make my own 😂
  4. Sorry but with all those issues and the time you've spent messing with it you should send it back for a refund or the seller should at least offer a partial refund, they can't have been in the dark about its condition I'm fed up with people getting dicked over with sales. Even if the seller claims to not know anything is wrong with the gun and let's be honest the majority of the time they do and it's them that have fucked about with it and claimed they didn't know (not saying it's the case with this particular sale but it happens alot) How was the gun advertised? With just a minor thing that needs fixing?

  6. @K-Pop_Fan_4Life hat looks good, it's always nice to see something different to the usual MTP/multicam
  7. No, Goods and services! I stuck with it as initially it seemed like just a hop up issue, which is an easy fix. It wasn’t until I had the upper off to get the hop up out that I started seeing the metal shavings everywhere and traces of superglue etc. I have had to “modify” it to get it apart to fix the issues, so it’s no longer in the condition that I received it in, and can’t be returned to said condition.

  9. Does the eve 9 not have the pts stock on it? I use a block battery opposed to separate cell batteries. With the pts stock they fit vertically into the back of the stock.

Hello all. Selling my Lambda GHM9. Internally it comes with a PDI W-Hold 70° Bucking and a short (I can't quite remember the length) 6.01 PDI barrel, which brings the quite honestly pathetic power close to the 300fps region on propane at room temperature. Installed is the SD conversion kit, TWI folding charging handle and the B&T sliding stock. I will also include the original 1913 rear cap and the short handguard and barrel assembly. The gun will also come with the TM Flip up sights and 3 OEM magazines. OPTICS ARE NOT INCLUDED. There are some worn bits on the paint, mainly the sliding stock rails as they're very stiff, the charging handle and the bolt (parts of the bolt have been slightly painted back to black after I sanded parts of it to fit into the CNC upper- (NOT INCLUDED) The rearmost stock pin also is very loose with the B&T stock assembled so some gummed up double sided sticky tape holds it in place. Because I'm a monkey also, the 2 body pin retention clips are a little mangled. They still hold the pins but it's something to be wary of.

  11. I saw that but decided to just post about the pistol as that looks like a bigger piss take
  12. So I have been really struggling to find a minerva piggyback Placard in stock anywhere, I really liked that some of the UKSF lads had adopted it for holding flashbangs on the front of the mag pouches so because I couldn't find one anywhere I decided to make my own I used an elite spanker triple molle pouch with a pistol pouch front and a thread picker removed the pistol pouches and bought a meter of multicam elastic, I have a girl at work who is a brilliant haberdasher and has done some kit repairs for me in the past so I gave it to her to do for me but unfortunately her machine couldn't get through the thick material so I went to hobbycraft and bought a pack of needles and thick thread and some beer because this was going to take absolutely ages 😂 I'm more than pleased with the outcome it only took about 3 hours of using pliers to ram the needle through and I only stabbed myself about 15 times 😂
  13. Yesterday I accidentally stepped on a copy of the Daily Mail and then had to spend ages hunting round to find some dog shit to wipe it off with.
  14. "ISSUES" ?, does it work as it should or not ?, if its not then it should be in the boneyard section & priced accordingly.
  15. Sorry to hear this, but I gotta ask, how did you pay & who was the seller ? Edit: I see who it was, Chef82nd, but confused as to why your stuck with it, please tell me you didn't pay F&F.

  17. I don't know what sort of cosmic coincidence is this but I have never had to know about stair climbers before yesterday, but right after seeing this thread yesterday I got to see one in action when we had to remove something similar down some flights of stairs Think it might be a Escalera Staircat which looks something like this which is apparently good for 540 kg which should be well suited for what OP was asking, spam or not Anyway, just very strange coincidence
  18. Yarp, same post, 4 years ago. I've run and told teacher.
  19. Sorry to hear. I hope you left appropriate feedback
  20. Bought an ares Thompson a few days ago from on here and sadly it’s nowhere near what was described. I’ve spent the past 2 days trying to salvage my £285 investment but it’s not going to happen. It will be sold as parts/boneyard, included is: A (from what I can tell) steel upper/lower receiver that’s been artificially weathered by the previous owner. The Thompson gearbox which works alright now it’s been opened and had the metal shavings removed. 😬 The ares hop chamber with no inner barrel or hop rubber as both was damaged when I received the replica. The motor cage screw has been stripped for the pistol grip screw by the previous owner and has a tiny bit of thread left that does lock on but it’s not great. The gearbox itself, as mentioned above is now okay however the previous owner superglued the fire/safe selector axis in place with the screw. I had to drill the screw out to get the gearbox out to fix the issues it had. As it was drilled out, the axis bar is no longer in a useable condition and the selector switch only just bites onto it via the grub screw however the safety/fire does still work if you manually twist the axis bar. The electric blowback has been disabled poorly by the previous owner and will take some work to get up and running again, possibly modification to a new piston. When I purchased the replica, most of the screws were missing. I’ve added a few of the important ones but worth mentioning. There is also 7 (If I remember correctly) high cap Thompson mags that will be going with the “replica”. The outer barrel assembly, wood pistol grip & stock will not be included however I may be able to provide the faux wood from the Cyma I purchased to replace the ares. Obviously I won’t be able to get back the £285 I got burned for but I would like to recover something at least, but I’m not really sure what it would be worth as a boneyard bundle. I will upload images of said items as soon as possible. Any help is massively appreciated!

  22. I got the Large size but I have to stress that I'm pretty sure that this refers to the adjustable size around the waist, not the area over the chest. I watched some YT reviews of this kit and the chest area is made to take armoured plates and am not sure that these come in different adult sizes. So the Medium/Large refers to the cummerbund size. It gets my vote for the build quality, comfort and snazzy features but I'd recommend asking around your local sites if you're not sure before you click "Buy"

  24. Well if the Somalian pirates got me they would have to have their wicked way with me cause I would be too weak to fight em off😐. 😂😂
  25. He also has a rifle up, that states used once but looks pretty well worn.
  26. Why do I get the impression he played once and discovered the reality of playing isn't like the edited YouTube videos he watched? Overpriced two-tone AEG with accessories up for sale too. "Only been used once" but it's awash with scuffs and scratches.
