  4. To be fair, if it just took my weight it would be a miracle 🐷 🤣
  5. custom gbb workshop geissele super duty 11.5 vfc v3 system gbb detail fix
  6. That balcony is an engineering miracle, just to support the weight of all 900 SAS operatives on it at one time.
  7. Thats right, he was with me & the other 500 guys on the balcony 😉
  8. If I wanted to be "gear light", have a good amount of ammo, and not rattle, I'd just use a good battle belt + mag pouches and buy a box of these... https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/emg-230rnd-daniel-defense-mid-cap-magazine-for-m4-ar-15-6-pack
  9. That's the one! Basing it on the AK from Last Light. Friend is refinishing it right now to make it look more weathered. One day I wanna build the Duplet from the games but that requires tools I don't have yet.
  10. also worth noting that Rusty was not one of the guys with a light on his MP5 during the raid
  11. Is it the Metro series of video games?
  12. Give explosive enterprises you tube video on the CAM 870 a watch. Very useful.
  13. Been in a bit of a shotgun phase of late, so treated myself to an CAM870 off this very forum then swapped out the furniture. Complete faff to load and use but god is it cool.
  14. Got one of these to saw up for an AK74M handguard and the butt of a post apoc double barrel shotgun. A wee choccy biccie for anyone who can guess the video game the build is based on.
  15. Tbf given how little Pmag style midcaps weigh, the BBs you load into it end up weighing about as much lmao. Feel like it'll be quibbling over grams and you're probably best looking at feed reliability and capacity.
  16. It's a pretty standard NATO cable, but you'll have to rewire it anyway. It's permanently attached to the earcup. I'd recommend JCI as well, but I'm guessing they're one of the people you've already spoken to. Of course, your definition of "silly money" may vary from mine. Talking Headsets offer a repair service https://www.talkingheadsets.co.uk/product/fixed-price-repair-for-sordin-supreme-headsets/?srsltid=AfmBOoomfbUGvx55GQMAlT0a7zYooz_WBSuOaUqa0YJOgPUzR2YbGK5x
  17. JCI comms would be your best bet
  18. I did a game here earlier this year (very early this year) and while it was well run, it just isn't the style I like. The site is impressive and almost designed for speedy bois, yet they say they don't want that. Unfortunately that style works at the site, so players running pistols with high capacity mags do rule. Also it's a maze, I couldn't get from one side to the other without getting lost, even at the end of the (1/2) day. This also means regulars (or anyone who has been 2/3 times) have a massive advantage as the race to the stairs at the start of every game is then quite unbalanced. The stairs are a massive choke point, regardless of the rules, the rules on their spiral staircase led to many almost comical moments of "oh I'm on the last step so you can't shoot me and I can't shoot you, so I'll just turn around and go back up etc". The longest shot possible is 8 metres, every shot hurts so anytime you're shot more than once, it's a mother trucker. (Thankfully this didn't happen much). There was great sportsmanship on site, the shop is great, the staff professional, other players seemed friendly and I honestly feel bad saying things which aren't positive as they have spent loads building what should be an Airsoft experience like no other (which it is), but it's just a bit too squashed in for me to find it fun. Too many painful shots and getting owned again and again by players who know the layout just isn't fun. I fear that this sort of day, recent promotions, extra marketing etc is because they aren't getting the numbers needed for it to be viable. It's a niche site and if that's your thing, it's a must visit. But honestly I suspect most players will visit, go oh that's novel and then not actually enjoy it enough to return again and again. Maybe if people stick the 2 or 3 day learning curve to learn the layout they will have loads of fun, being the people who know the routes and angles.

    THE TM MWS thread

A few retails might still have stock of the original TR-1 kits, but believe AngryGun had to stop producing these after the first run. Probably due to unlicensed copyright issues! Since then they (a/k/a AngryGun) re-released a new MWS TR-1 kit and other TTI goods, all of which are officially licensed by EMG. However, these newer kits appear to be based around the retail version of the TTI TR-1, whereas the original AG kits were based on the actual TR-1 movie variant that was seen in John Wick 2. Be careful as their are a few notable differences in both furniture and markings between these two kits, as well as in quality (older kits supposedly had better QA). Best bet would probably be looking for an older version of the kit second hand on a marketplace or retailer somewhere.
  20. Patrolbase boneyard has got an extra 50% off now which makes it mostly sensibly priced finally! (excluding novritsch stuff which is still original prices). A lot of the good stuff has gone unfortunately but there's still a few good bits in there. There's also lots of aeps for £20ish, kwc/cybergun deagles, specna snipers. I miss the days when they had a well priced boneyard. Nowadays it's more like a £200 RIF snapped in half and missing a magazine with £30 off. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-boneyard
  21. Seemed more about the raid itself , given its title I was hoping to see it ( the mp5 and its custom WL ) all broken down a bit more but nice to see all the same
  22. Yesterday
  23. I got a lightweight MWS bolt/carrier group for my Noveske N4 in anticipation of the winter, before the rat race starts with people doing the same.
  24. Cheers for the info, I fitted the stainless bolt cap by Jaeger and it’s made it feel a lot more fun to shoot. Might have a look into the AG spring but I didn’t notice any downsides from the bolt cap yet
  25. I have used the Angry Gun 110% and 130% - the 110% was great with a heavier bolt and buffer and ensured it went back into battery pretty fast. The 130% just massively increased the gas consumption! Recoil is down to how fast the bolt is travelling and how much it weighs when it hits the end of the buffer tube. The buffer spring is just to push the bolt back after.
  26. It was a fairly interesting video of his. As you say he is a bit dry get much better videos from Ian on forgotten weapons and Jonathan furgason on royal armoureries page.
  27. I'm not a fan of Mark Felton video's as they tend to be a bit 'dry', but this one made me feel pretty good about my MP5 DIY build.
